Is this a Sales Pitch or why aren't you using the real model names? For anyone wondering, the CCM FT1 is mostly a CCM HGJS (which offers pro padding like D3O). The Hyperlite is mostly a player specific iteration of a Bauer Vapor Team, which is completely different to that a HYPERLITE is (hot garbage). They NHL gloves are built like in the good old days way back when Bauer used to care about player protection (until APX2 pro). Please keep in mind that no NHL is using retail gloves. Never expect to get NHL spec gloves off the shelves.

I’m apparently quite old school, and glad I stocked up on some things when I did. I’m rocking Bauer Vapor APX Pro and Vapor 1X Pro gloves. Though I’m going to have to find some replacements in the next year or so. Other old item I still have a few left that have life in them; the 2017 model year Nexus 1N stick. What’s the most comparable model for when my last three twigs break? Currently using a 95 flex P88.

I wish all gloves had more flex in the thumb so you can fully open your hand as wide open as you can without a glove on. For me in that aspect the QRE 30s were the best ones there though I’d like a slightly tighter fit on the backhand. Comfort wise they’re not terrible. I’d like to be able to check out pro stock options without being stuck with them because for me there really isn’t a retail glove that I’d be happy with mainly due to the lack of being able to fully spread your hand open.

You ever tried any jetspeed gloves ? I've had 2 before (I forget the names but they were like 100-150$ or so) and both gave me tons of hand mobility while everything else I tried sucked

@Bassani97 If you are still struggling with gloves then I would consider jetspeeds. I think my current pair that I am about to replace are the CCM control gloves and they are super loose but in a good way, any gloves you buy will be tight at first but these ones should be easy to wear in. I personally might get some high end FT6 pro gloves now since my current pair has lots of holes in them but I haven't actually tried it on yet since my local store doesn't have the highest end stuff so I gotta go to the big city for that. Also, make sure you get the correct size. Even just 1 size up or down will make a massive difference. I know your comment was from 4 months ago but if you are planning on getting new gloves soon take the time to get the size right if you haven't already. Bigger sized gloves do not mean looser gloves, so I wouldn't recommend getting excessively big ones just for more mobility.

Favorite gloves of all time were the (Nike) Bauer vapor xxxx pro. I also really liked the nexus 1n. I’ve never seen a more popular pro glove than the ccm ft1. The vapor 1x was really popular but I never have seen a glove worn by so many players for so long. That glove came out in 2018

@@hockeycollective crazy how awesome it was. Nike owned Bauer for awhile but the actual Nike Bauer branded gear only lasted for like 2 years. But they put out the vapor xxx lite. The vapor xxxx gloves, stick and skates. Then the entire one95 set of gear. I think it’s the best gear Bauer has ever put out. The xxxx and one95 skates were absolutely everywhere.

My first gloves were used RAWLINGS and I was surprised RAWLINGS made Hockey gear. 2nd pair, REEBOK 24K (I think that's the name) It was budget friendly but the palms rip apart Current pair: TRUE brand. I think it was the cheapest and most comfortable I tried and bought. I'm happy my guy from the shop spent 4 hours with me getting fitted and such. I gave him $10 for himself.

I wear pro stock Jetspeeds and pro stock QRL. You’re actually using the pair of QRLs that I’m selling for your image of that glove. Used to wear Bauer Vapor APX2 and 1x, but those gloves (and Bauer protective in general) have gone so far downhill in the last 4-6 years

I just baught some TRUE gloves. I have only had 5 ice times so I can't pass judgement yet. They are comfortable and light so that is nice. I am replacing some Bauer gloves I had for 10 years. They had absolutely no palm left. I should have replaced them a couple years ago but I loved how loose they fit so I judt held on unitl I couldn't anymore.

Favorite all time: MIA MB2 (later became Warrior Franchise), then numerous Eagle models. All were made in Canada. I don't think any Warriors are made in Canada anymore, while Eagle is. I guess Eagle has not been paying to be in the nhl for a while, but so what? They have always made great mitts and you get them custom for less than 200 US.

A free traditional four old guy although I have one different fits of four roll. I'm currently using warrior and they're pretty good but the STX that I had before these were better. CCM and Bauer are okay but nothing special when it comes to their four roll

Interesting, I would think more guys would wear the CCM FT6 Pros. I wear Bauer Vapor 3X and they are dreneched after a hard game. I'm looking to go FT6 pros for the ventilation and I'll often on the ice once to 4 times a day coaching my kids' teams. I'll probably hear jokes from other coaches that I have nicer gloves than a lot of NHLers 😅
