In a Biofloc System, we are culturing Pro-Bacteria to control the environment and maintain water quality required for the fishes. Biofloc nowadays getting more popular because of its ability to provide high-density fish farming in a very small area. Before you start your own Biofloc System, try to learn more about it because it's science, which needs to be understood well.
In this video, I have tried to simplify a few things related to the roles of bacteria in the Biofloc System. If you find the information helpful, please like and share this video with your friends. If you are new to my channel, please don't forget to subscribe to it.
Nitrifying Process - Ammonia Oxidising Bacteria (AOB) Converts Ammonia to Nitrite
Nitrite Oxidizing Bacteria (NOB) Convers Nitrite to Nitrate
Heterotrophic Process - In Ammonia Assimilation Process, Ammonia Removed from Fish Tank and
Undigested Feed Get Converted into Mycobacterial Proteins for Fishes.
Nitrifying and Heterotrophic Process is a debatable topic, some may not like my way of suggesting the things. It's absolutely fine as long as you are able to manage your Biofloc System perfectly.
My name is Kallol Parida and I have been doing Fish and Shrimp Farming using Biofloc for a while now. If you want to learn more about it, you can visit my website roadtobiofloc.com. You can also reach me on my WhatsApp number +919777876057
Small Correction: It's not Nitrite Oxidizing Bacteria (NOB), it's Nitrite Oxidizing Bacteria (NOB). My apology for this typo
