Nothing wrong with asking questions! Also know there are no stupid questions, no need to feel embarrassed. I'm trying to learn what I can about Church history overall, particularly Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican and Lutheran Christianity.

I don't know orthodox church ,and would like to know what are the differences between a married priest and a hieromonk in their wearings? And why some orthodox monk wear a black tall hat with long gauze,is this kind of hat only belongs to monk?

I'm surprised you have a dragon design. It's a dragon symbolic of the evil one?

High back phelonion is merely a development of the Athonite style, meant to fit various and sundry priests who serve in rotation, not fitted to the should width of a single priest. Typically, priests in the Greek Archdiocese serving large cathedral-style parishes get paid enough to buy their own vestments, while in the OCA and other churches of the Russian tradition, with smaller parishes more like chapels, the parish owns the priests’ vestments and they might get used by succeeding pastors.

Dragon vestments? It seems some Orthodox Priests have forgotten about pagan symbols and what dragons mean in China.
