To me, him failing to explain clearly what the issue is is somewhat entertaining, as it is interesting to see, and also endearing. I can totally see where you're coming from with saying i come off as prideful, in fact I wasn't gonna write this comment, as it can definitely be interpreted as paternalistic/snobby and only aimed at showing how smart I am. I can see that, but the few likes I got also indicate to me that the intended message of my comment is there. To be clear, yes, my comment implies that I'm more educated then super, but it absolutely doesn't imply I'm smarter. In fact I think that many people could resonate with my statement, as you clearly don't need a degree to understand that he's right, nor do you need one to see that his explanation is lackluster because of the quality of his education. My comment only implies that I'm smarter then most if you don't see clearly the whole smart student/difficult class debate or if you, not unlike super, wouldnt be able to lay it out clearly. Since that can be due to a number of reasons, I see absolutely no issue with that inability. Okay, but anime was clearly referencing super's previous comment where he implied that getting A's was difficult and thus required lots of work making you a loser. So when anime says "not because it was difficult", he was referring to the difficulty implication and essentially saying "I'm not a loser that had to work hard, I'm a genius". He's essentially referencing the first third of super's comment thus saying "not because of this, but because I'm a genius." Out of context it doesn't make sense, in context its fine.

Also, isn't the specification of the default difficulty of getting all As... also unecessery? Super accused them of being a "loser because they get straight As"... and I think the immediate picture of this description is a student that spends all of their time studying to get straight As (because if they didn't need to, they would have had time for social stuff and other not "stereotypically loser things"), so the implication of the accusation is that they study too much... because getting straight As, also from what Super is saying, IS difficult. So I'm confused on why they specified that getting straight As is "not easy" (which they wrote "difficult" instead, and that's why they got rolled, because it's wrong), since the accusation from Super implies that, yes indeed, getting straight As IS "not easy", so there's no reason to get defensive on that note. It just doesn't make sense.
