The procedure involves removing excess skin, reshaping the breast tissue, and repositioning the nipple to achieve a more youthful and lifted appearance. Breast lift surgery does not significantly alter the size of the breasts but focuses on improving their firmness, contour, and position on the chest. It is a suitable option for those who are satisfied with their breast size but desire a more lifted and rejuvenated appearance.
Anchor or Wise pattern lift: This technique is often used for more significant breast lifts or cases where there is a significant amount of excess skin and sagging. It involves making an incision around the areola (the darker skin surrounding the nipple), extending vertically downwards from the areola to the breast crease, and then horizontally along the breast crease.
Lollipop or Vertical Lift: This technique is suitable for moderate breast lifts and cases where there is a moderate amount of sagging. It involves making an incision around the areola and then extending vertically downwards towards the breast crease. Through this incision, the surgeon can remove excess skin, reshape the breast tissue, reposition the nipple and areola to a higher position, and achieve a more lifted and firmer breast appearance.
