Pile #1: Believe it or not, we've been thinking about each other for 44 years! We have a long history but we each married different partners. I never stopped loving him but I was too young and got scared by the extreme differences between our cultures. When I went back, he ignored me and kept ignoring me for the next 39 years until just a month ago when I found a Friend Request from him on Facebook. It was such a shock to me. At first all the old feelings came back to me full force, but I responded to his request with a message and he didn't respond. It was so typical of how he'd been treating me all those years that it totally put me off him again. Besides, it's too little, too late, sadly. 😥 We're both so old now. I'm 60, he's 74. Pile 2. I’ve been going through a breakup for 5 months now and the way things ended with my ex was not on good terms. The part when you said that I might’ve reminded my person of the things they need to heal from really shocked me because prior to our breakup I admit I was quite forceful when I wanted them to open up to me about certain things about their past and they weren’t comfortable talking about it and pushed me away, I thought they could trust me, but I realized they were not ready. Also on the same day prior to the breakup they were showing some red flags of cheating/seeing someone else behind my back, I wasn’t sure but my intuition was telling me they were, so it really resonated when you pulled out the Sneaky and Devil card because there’s no doubt in my mind there was a 3rd party situation, so the day they brokeup with me they used the excuse of me “hurting them” when I forced them to open up to me about what’s hurting them about their past even though I know deep down there was more reasons why they brokeup with me, I just wish they were more honest about it, but overall during our relationship I was nurturing, warm and compassionate to them I just hope they remember the goods sides of me. #2, so i accidentally picked this group when I was trying to go for pile 3. 3 did not resonate, pile 2 did.
