I still haven't figured out why they didn't just winch it off the trailer ... hook the front axle and redirect with a snatch block on the rear off the trailer ... after the front was at the rear they could have just pulled out from under it or used the boom to lift the front and pulled the trailer out with another truck.

🤣🤣🤣🤣I kept watching and just shaking my head. They're brilliant when it comes to wiring and stuff but they didn't have a lick of common sense when putting this in that spot. Hopefully they learn from it for the future. They need to make themselves some wheel dolls or get some Go Jack's for stuff like this.

They were totally goofing off and like some said figuring out what the wrecker was capable of doing. They know they could have unloaded the truck in a few minutes with the winch that is built on to the trailer, dragged it off, etc. but where's is the fun in that? This was simply a learning exercise with them trying new things.😉 But it might be really good TV when we do do a recovery too 😂😂

I know it's to late now, but if I had of been unloading that truck, when you guys lifted it and drug it back on the trailer. I would have stopped when the rear wheels would touch the ground. Then I would have put jack stands under the frame. Backed in into the spot , use the badlands jack to jack it up and remove the jackstands setting the rear wheels on the ground and pulled forward dragging it out far enough to set the ramps and then pulled on forward until it was all the way off the trailer and ramps. Picked up and cleaned up my tools and called it done. Now you know a better way for next time and when you decide to put it in the shop you can do that then too.

@p.e.81492 ай бұрын
Here's a suggestion that has worked for me in the past on car trailers a two-pulley or one system to remove dead one's off the trailer once you have it in the location. Here goes the one pulley, mount a D- ring on the center of the entry of the trailer as an anchor point to which you can use a shackle and snatch block to do a down and back to winch end of the vehicle you want off the trailer to pull it off and then drive out from under. Wahla, job done all by one person and limited equipment/tools. You pulled it on now pull it off.😎

But of course this comes with experience the boys will get there they're amazing young men.
