The viper just wants to hug someone. It's not her fault they keep dying. It's not like she squeezes too hard. ...and to add my two cents, the "snakemen" were the aliens that the elders added both human and earthly snake DNA to, thus creating the vipers. They gave them a set of chesticles (those aren't boobs, they're support for the venom glands) and "hartmann hips" to make them psychologically intimidating. Then the furries came along and foiled that plan.

I believed for a while that Firaxis has put some effort into it in actually creating atleast somewhat of a language, because sometimes, when you activate a pod, ADVENT officers point into the direction of the squad, saying something like "Lux", which reminds me of Latin, because "Lux" in latin means "Light", so maybe a short order to ADVENT soldiers to "shed light" to that aka. search and destroy an area. But then at some point I read, that Firaxis stated that literally they only wanted to create a gibberish language, that sounded dark, authoritarian and threatening, looking at several languages with these characteristics like German (as a German: ouch, that hurts, we got a beautiful language), mix them together to a gibberish and process them through an audiofilter, hence the ADVENT soldiers all sound so dark and distorted when they speak. So this is video is so funny, I will never be able to play XCOM 2 normally again and will happily send ADVENT soldiers onto Toucan Safaris :D

Totally love this, both a great video, but also examples of pareidolia and priming people to hear things. You can literally close your eyes, not read the subtitling, and listen to the audio to hear gibberish. Then, rewind and listen to it again while reading the subtitles to hear what they're saying clearly. Then, rewind again with eyes closed and depending on how your brain works, you'll either not hear those words again, or hear them clearly. Just another crazy example of how our brain processes things in strange ways.
