We absolutely loved those baby centers. They were especially nice on cold days when you had to change diapers. Hard to believe we haven't used them in about 10 years. We sometimes grab a locker if we have to leave the park and come back. It is just easier than having security go through your stuff again. Last time we brought a gimbal they asked the same.

Someone suggested we start the channel and that is how we started this journey. Even if we grow, we are going to do our best to still answer all questions. Great tips guys! Never think about bringing food in to any parks! Good to know about the tripods 💙✨

We see occasionally see people get turned around because of tripods or selfie sticks. It always sucks having to walk back to the hotel or your car when security denies you access.

So helpful! I swear I saw someone walking around with their wonderfold at DCA&I was floored! Mostly because of wanted to buy one for my nieces and nephews to use at Disneyland but the restrictions were there. I then seen them again the next day at Disneyland.
@AnaheimParkTourist2 жыл бұрын
We have heard that Disney will allow them for children with disabilities but it isn't published anywhere. It also depends on the the security person. Sometimes they will let you in with an oversized stroller or a Wonderfold. They are beginning to crack down on the size and type of stroller you can bring in and are being more strict on adherence to their published guidelines. Crystal had a co-worker turned away with a Wonderfold and they ended up having to walk back to their hotel and rent a stroller from Disneyland. We have also seen those bike towable double wide strollers in the park, which are massive! I think with the increased crowds they are being more strict and adhering closer to their own policies. We always like to say Disney is consistently inconsistent with things. Thank you and glad you found this helpful. -Jim

We buy 20oz Gatorade and bring it in full, then when we finish it, we pour in a single-serving drink mix (I like the Skittles brand) and fill up from a filling station. You can find the locations of filling stations on the Disneyland app in the map section under "guest services"

Great video! It sounds like if you pack the same way as TSA requirements it will be easier through Disneyland security. I often pack like items in Ziplock bags because it’s easier to grab a bag than fish for an item. Plus, everything is already in water proof bags for Splash and Grizzly. Security has complimented me 😄 Renting scooters online is great if you’re within reasonable walking distance. You order online and they deliver it to your hotel and pick it up when you’re done. It was wonderful to put our heavy backpacks on the back of the seats and have the baskets in front to hold beverages and cameras. Thank you for linking the water station video! I only knew about Rancho del Zocalo’s. Water is almost $5 per bottle! 😱
@AnaheimParkTourist2 жыл бұрын
That is a great way of putting it, TSA requirements. I wish we would get the scanners that Disney World has, it is so much easier. Ziploc bags are a great idea too! Also a good idea to have some extras for your electronics :). We usually carry a few gallon Ziploc bags with us for popcorn or other snacks. We almost always use them since our boys don't always finish their food. That is good to hear about renting scooters. Our friend recently had to rent a scooter for his wife. He said it was such a lifesaver for her since she just had surgery. They stayed at Park Vue and she rode the scooter back to the hotel room nightly. The water fill stations are such a lifesaver. It is too bad DCA doesn't have them like Disneyland. We have been known to refill our bottles at Pym's test kitchen at the self service coke machines.

You guys mention scooter but you guys don’t mention where can we charge them during the day if needed. You wouldn’t happen to know were the charging stations for them are would you. Please let me know. Cause there are lot of videos on the scooters but no one puts were to charge them. Thank you
@AnaheimParkTourist5 ай бұрын
Hi, Our ECV lasted the entire day and we did not have a need to charge it while at the parks and we traveled 15-20 miles each day. Disney doesn’t offer ECV/scooter charging in the parks. You can go rogue and plug into an electrical outlet, they are fairly easy to find throughout the park. We actually saw this at Disney World. However, here is the official word from Disney. They state if you need a charge go to the ECV rental shop, located right outside the park and they will let you plug in. Link: plandisney.disney.go.com/question/charging-stations-throughout-park-scooters-340301/#:~:text=Currently%2C%20there%20are%20no%20charging,or%20scooters%20throughout%20the%20Parks. Thank you for the water station video link, I absolutely HATE spending money on water! I'll be buying the phone charger for sure this time, our trip in December was the first in this era of apps and even though I tried to conserve my battery I was down to about 3% at the end of the night and needed my phone for the ART tickets...that was stressful!
@AnaheimParkTourist2 жыл бұрын
We both agree with you. Water bottles are so expensive and we drink so much of it. It is a bummer that the water fill stations aren't cold water, but you can always ask for a cup of ice. If you aren't at Starbucks you can always ask for a Trenta cup of ice water and they will give you to you. If we brave the Starbucks lines we usually ask for ice water on hot days. That is very stressful, especially when you need your phone to get home. It is amazing how fast your phone burns up the battery when you are at the parks.

How strict is Disney on graphic t-shirts? For example will they allow me to wear my shirt that says "oh boy! Thank you for giving me your life savings!"
@AnaheimParkTourist2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, we see people wearing similar shirts to this all the time and don't think you will have an issue. Example we have husband and wife wearing "best vacation ever" and the husband wearing "most expensive vacation ever." When the shirt has foul language or offensive images the ask you to remove the shirt.

Are you allowed to bring prop items (e.g. a keyblade from Kingdom hearts)?
@AnaheimParkTourist Жыл бұрын
We are thinking it would fall into a grey area. It might depend on who is at security. For sure have a plan to either bring it back to your vehicle or to your hotel in case they don’t allow it. They for sure do not allow any kind of adult cosplay. Disney is also consistently inconsistent. So one day they may allow it and the next day, they may not. We are also thinking if it’s on the larger side, they would not allow. We suggest asking on the Disneyland app chat feature and telling them the size of the prop and seeing what they say. Thank you for watching. ☺️

Thanks for the video. can you use a backpack cooler? also did they ask you if you have food in your backpack?
@AnaheimParkTourist2 жыл бұрын
We have seen people in the parks with the ice chest backpacks. Just make sure it is the same size as a normal backpack (not abnormally large), it needs to be soft shell, and use cold packs (no loose ice). Disneyland inspects every bag, by hand. As long as you don't bring in the fixings to make food you, like we explained in the video, you will be fine. We typically bring some food into the parks with us.

I know they have lockers at the front of the park but is that the only option if you don't want to take your stuff on rides? I've mostly been to 6 flags where they have lockers at each ride or you can put your stuff to the side.

Hi! We carry a fairly large north face backpack and it does not get in the way on attractions. There is always plenty of space. It can get annoying carrying a bag around all day, depending on how large and heavy it is. That is why we mentioned the lockers. Unfortunately I do not think you can do anything else with your bags while on attractions. Disneyland does not have lockers at the attractions (only the water ride, Grizzly River Run, at California Adventure has short term lockers available so your bag does not get wet). Hope that helps! Cuz I have a Chewbacca one and I thought it would be fun to wear to the park since I’ve seen people wearing them inside the parks before. Do you think they wouldn’t let me in if I wore it? Idk if I should take the risk or avoid it. The pajamas look nothing like a real Chewbacca costume so I can’t be mistaken as a worker there.
