It's the same as when he hits a worm with a weapon that only does 35 damage and it appalled when it does such low damage, or like when he misses completely and a secondary fragment releases a tiny flame which the game graciously allows to graze his target so at least he did some damage, and he is disgusted because it only did 7 or something.
