I relate so much to this story...but there's a sweetness too. My best friend passed away from breast cancer at the age of 37, and her dad died of cancer 3 months later. They were both very special people to me and played an important role in who I am today. After I listened to your story, Sunny, I remembered that her family had introduced me to The Landmark Forum, which was kind of like one of the first group coaching format personal improvement courses. It was in person, and an intensive weekend. Her dad was working on high ticket corporate coaching programs in the years before he died. So there is legacy in his example of both receiving and giving coaching inside the course I'm now operating in AA. And my friend (his daughter) often nudged me to go for what I was passionate about and loved (one thing for me is music). What are we waiting for, indeed? No one ever did anything extraordinary by waiting for someone else to do it for you. We do those who inspired us, and those we inspire, a service by playing full out. This course I'm developing is stretching me so hard, and so is the album project I'm working on slowly, but it feels so good. I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad for the deep impact Amin had on you, hugs :)

Really powerful. What I’m truly blown away by is the impact you had on her life as one creator helping a fellow creator. We recently had a similar experience helping our friend Owen Hemsath who was diagnosed with stage 4, terminal cancer. I don’t know that any of this ever gets any easier but I do know that being there for others in their time of need absolutely makes their journey more manageable. Wow those few words in her book are so powerful. It brought me to tears. My husband passed away last year.. not due to COVID, but due to a drunk driver. I am a widow at 27. Still recovering, but the stage where I am at in my life is taking action and creating a life I want to live. He was on the way to work to a job he hated.. and that was the end for him. Time truly waits for NO ONE. I have embodied that. Quit my job and now starting a life that is meaningful to me. That is purposeful to me. Sunny, thank you for sharing that. Must have been God, because this story reinforces all the decisions I have made up until this very point in my life. No turning back now. If it doesn’t work out, I can say I lived trying instead of living with regrets.

I have a friend who is going through a second and terminal this time cancer. She has two very young children who will soon loose their mum. All she does everyday is fight for every breath so she can spend just a few more hours/ days/ weeks with her children. She knows she has very little time left and there is nothing that can be done to Change it. She thought me to let go of bad feeling I had towards my relatives as life is too short to hold grudges. Cancer is brutal and you’re so right. I woke up today- that’s a success. I’m choosing to be happy, smile and cherish every moment I have with my husband and children. 7:20 made me hit the like button and I'm so happy that she was able to get that book out despite all circumstances. I watched my mother pass away this past March. It was very surreal. Somehow I took it for granted she's always there. And then it hit me. This is where we are all heading, sooner or later. Made me wake up big time and get to work, not on poetry, but other things. Sunny thank you for your honesty. I had to discover how short life really is when my dad suddenly died of a heart attack. I was 24 and on the other side of the ocean. Even myself, living life day by day after 5 years, I was forgetting how short it really is. Rewatching your video with Amin was heartbreaking but it is also so beautiful to see that thanks to you and thanks to her strength we can now make sure she lives forever, through that book. Sunny, I'm so so sorry for your loss. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and I lost my dad to cancer almost 4 years ago. Mom was diagnosed 2 years ago.
