I was able to catch a 1771 CP Galarian Moltres the other day, this was my 3rd galarian encounter. I used a Golden Razz, and hit a Great Curveball throw and caught it. I was in disbelief but beyond ecstatic, so everyone don’t give up hope! Just keep trying!

I caught my first Galarian bord, an Articuno CP 3155. I used a golden Razz, but only hit it with a great throw. Still caught it! I feel super lucky! It was my first encounter with any of these birds as well! I’m level 38, so no ultra player at all. Just lucky :D

I've had them spawn. The issue is even if you use a golden razz, ultra ball, excellent curveball throw, they will break out immediately and flee.

I'm 0/5 on catch attempts. I've spawned an average of 22 pokemon per incense, and seen 5 legendary birds in 14 days of running the incense. Niantic is amazing at coming up with a good idea then making it not fun lmao.

The incense seems to work better between 10-11 miles per hour as you'll get more spawns. I see around 26-28 spawns consistently, and they don't auto flee like typically what happens when you catch from a vehicle. I've caught 3 birds already, 2 Moltres and an Articuno. I've seen roughly 20 birds so far. I was lucky because the ones I caught were all low cp. On two occasions I've seen 3 birds in one incense and on both of those occasions I saw back to back Zapdos. Using it after dark, in sparsely populated areas (with not many spawns around) seems to have more visibility. Find a friend to drive you down a country road after dark between 10-14 mph and see what you get.

i have encountered 27 of them. i used golden razzberries and ultra balls with almost 100% excellent throw rate, and every single one has escaped within a tenth of a second of it getting in the ball. absolutely rigged.

Oh no D: If you tap the screen impatiently the eggs will hatch faster, I'd have spammed tapping where the X button is in the menus to close it out as fast as possible and get back to the overworld

I just caught Galarian Zapdos today. I used a Ultra Ball, had a great throw, used a gold razz, I do not have the platinum badge for ether of it's types and the CP is 3031 (The IVs are very bad lol). My local city Discord is losing it's shit a little bit and offering me many things as well as sexual favors and I hate that. I'm keeping it and buddying it. A 1292cp Galarian Zapdos spawned down the street from my house using daily incense. Used an ultraball great throw with a golden raspberry and caught it first try. Was pretty excited! I think it's just pure luck to catch one of these guys.

For the people thinking "OH MY GOD YESS GALARIAN BIRDS ARE GOING TO BE IN RAIDS SOME DAY!!" (because of what he said) Sorry to break it to you but they aren't ever going to be in raids never EVER EVER so don't get your hopes up or anything they would never do this because it would reduce the money spent from people buying poke balls if they didn't have any for it or for the people that buy other things. All though they would make a lot of money because of raid passes, this would never happen so do not think it will and this has never been leaked and never will. We already have different variations in raids like, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. Don't get your hopes up! peace!

I just caught a Galarian Moltres on my child's account- only a silver bird keeper medal (we just started that account a couple of days ago- level 24). My first ball was only a great curveball with a golden razz. I did however purposely waste a couple of balls because I saw a video saying that this would increase your chances. The bird jumped out....but did not flee! Fed another Golden Razz and then didn't even hit a nice curveball and to my disbelief!!!!! I caught it! This was only the second time that I came across that bird.

I encountered Moltres after midnight on Sunday when I got my incense, then encountered Articuno on Wednesday and caught it with a excellent throw, ultra, golden razz. It was a Weather Boosted 1858 CP. So far since Daily Incense came out I have only seen 4 and caught one bird the first time I was able to get a excellent throw. In total I probably used 30-35 Daily Incenses.

Me too, I was shocked to see it show up on my map while driving has a passenger with an incense on, I clicked on him gave him a golden Berry and through an excellent ultra Ball, it barely shook once and he disappeared, he was 2980cp... 😭

I've been especially frustrated because the incense punishes stopping to rest by not spawning anything for a couple minutes after I resume walking, so I have to just shuffle on through my back pain to oeep the GPS moving 🤦‍♀️ It's given me a morning routine of taking a walk with my daily incense, and given me some candy for rare/out of season mons I've been waiting to evolve for months, but I honestly kinda dread running into any birds, as much as I want them. I know I'll be on cloud nine if I catch one but I don't know if the frustration and disappointment on the way is worth it

@@dravendaum1390 I ran into Zapdos yesterday. What a thrill, especially after it broke out of the first ball and *didn't* run, but it still got away. Gotta say though, I haven't been so *excited* to see a legendary since I was a kid. For the first time in a long time, there's something in Pokémon that you can't cheat or grind your way to, and that makes it feel way more special than a boosted odds shiny or a legendary that's just sitting waiting for you to fight it over and over til it's yours.

I remember encountering galarian moltres a while ago, it fled and i honestly wasn't surprised, as a casual player the only reason i use daily adventure incenses is to fill up my pokedex and get some good IV pokémon, i see galarian birds as a distraction/prank the game gets you really excited when you encounter them just for them to flee and break your heart and motivation to use the daily adventure incense again, when ypu see a galarian bird don't think your gonna catch it, i know its disappointing to fail a legendary pokemon but if you think about it your kinda supposed to, so if you find one and they flee move on like nothing happened

i think the 90%flee rate is exagerated, they are very rare to even spawn , and that's bad for iv's and pvp already , but in the very low chanche they do they are more likely to flee, that's just cruel
