I'd answer with "no idea," which is true. Looking up to see if people actually ask that question on a first date, and apparently that answer would be a red flag. Something else no one talks about with joint finances is that there is always a risk your partner could secretly accrew debt and for instance, if they die you'd be held responsible. Or other such horror stories. (Which I only researched bc I was terrified I'd end up with my father's debt, so that's context for ya 😂). So always be careful, even if you trust them at first, x years of marriage changes people. My parents are certainly not the same people they were when they got married. Personally I'd insist on a prenuptial, because although I'm capable of trusting a person, I doubt I will ever trust the unrelenting force of time.

If I for example make 100,000$ and my spouse makes 50,000$, then I would add twice as much to the joint account than her. That way, both partners get to keep their own private finances while also fairly contributing money to family related expenses. I think this creates strong personal boundaries, allows both parties to feel a degree of freedom while still working together, reduces the risk of one partner feeling like the other is leeching off them, and allows both parties to surprise each other and build trust.

I personally would not wear a used ring, except if it's generational. Because I strongly believe that energies of souls get trapped in their belongings. Some can be positive and caring. And some can be disastrous for you. If my mom gives me a jewel to wear, I'd wear it because she always wants my good. But if my mother in law would give me her used ones, then NO, because no matter how lovely she'd be. She is not my real mom
@mnd7381

Uh even if the in laws are very good? I understand not wanting a ring that unknown people used to wear.. but sometimes in laws may give a ring or pendant or something like that to their son or daughter in law

I know I’m late, but that’s not what it was mentioning at all… he said “asks for your credit on the first date” not your credit card. The question would’ve been referring to wondering how good your credit was, not borrowing thousands of dollars.

I had an ex that asked me to get a credit card on my name so that i could help him Buy some clothes he need It for a presentation at school I laughed and said I'll look in to It, he said thanks baby. I ghosted His dumb a$$ 😂😂 2 years later I saw him again AND said he didnt understand why I didnt want to help him out, I told him I would explain Over dinner he said ok but he wanted us to go to an expensive restaurant I said ok he said if I could cover It AND that he would get It the next Time, I Made the reservation I told him I was running late but to please go ahead AND start eating AND ask something for me he sent me picks of him eating saying he was waiting I ghosted him again not before telling him oh yeah Im not showing up AND stop looking for me I wanted nothing to do with a male sugar baby and I hoped he finally understood he just wasnt that cute to get free stuff blocked him dont know how he payed for It. Years later I met my husband AND he told me baby Im going to give you my money manage It please Im not good at It. We've built a great future together and instead of him asking me to get a credit card he got one but has me running It. God always makes It Up to US. ❤
