I am a brazilian too, dont live in Rio and god forbid to ever go there, theres so many better places to go and live, in my opinion. Just for instance, the northeast of brazil has much better (and hotter water) beaches, in states like Ceará, Paraíba and Alagoas. And favelas free. Rio nowadays is a bit more dangerous then what it used to be a few years ago.

I've spent over a month in Sao Paulo. I disagree that the women aren't as attractive. I was there during Carnival so everybody was out and about. I've never seen so many attractive women in one place from 18-50, it's insane. Now I went to SP for the specific reason that I am the Black man that ask "Where the White women at?" and I live in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley) where dating WW isn't an issue at all not my entire life (I'm 50). Brazil has the most attractive women bar none it's not even close and I've been all over Europe and Eastern Europe.

I was in the u.s navy and I went to Rio and Salvador, and it was in 2001 when club help was open and Copa cabana ave was popping, I was bagging 5 to 6 girls a night .... The women in Rio loved brothers from the states because we like he said treated them like queens and by them being so damn beautiful we would get in them guts teal good and they loved that. im from sao paulo's capital city and he is right, the girls are not very friendly, my neighborhood is a mix of italian, portuguese and japanese cultures from imigrant families, as you can imagine, families here are very conservative, and the good quality women are into career over family, so they are not easy to hang out with sao paulo is a big state, it has 276 beaches, the girls there are much nicer and chill, much like in salvador and a little less messy than rio because of less tourists
