i agree with you totally, edge is our biggest need. it helps everything else on defense. we dont even need lockdown corners. if we have a good pass rush, they will force qbs into mistakes that even rookies can take advantage of.

I remember when we signed Julius Peppers for 2 seasons, he was 34 years old when we signed him. Ended up being a good signing and we actually were contenders in 2014. Khalil Mack could potentially bring that to us.

I would make Jordan love watch Jayden Daniels entire season. And copy how he carries himself when he plays. That rookie is by far a better quarterback. I expect Washington to be the first team to win a Superbowl with a Rookie Quarterback.

I would want BG to get some mid priced FAs like Olujari from the Giants or one of the DTs from New England to replace Slaton. We don't need to go after high priced guys like Higgins. If Davante is willing to come back for a more modest salary then yeah go for it, but otherwise we can pass on Davante too.

I think Mack could be a good pickup like when we got Mercilus a few years back. He still produces and is a veteran that could help the DE room. Having someone who could provide 6-8 sacks and is a good run defender could be valuable.

I think receiver room is way overrated. Those guys aren’t rookies anymore and they are inconsistent. None of them can get separation and lead the nfl in drops. Gutey wanted Mack a few years ago but Da Bears outbid him. We all know he won't part with draft picks even though he SUCKS drafting in the 1st. round, good overall but not in the 1st. Couldn't imagine how awful love would've been in his year 3. Malik is younger, faster, more accurate, and has just as good of an arm. Dont hold Malik getting drafted by an awful organization against him. Love would've been abysmal if drafted by the titans. Malik just works better in this offense.
