TVP, THANK YOU! Your programs help us to understand recent East European History, and how deceptive and manipulative Russia has been. It is disgusting to remember how Ukraine was convinced by Western Powers to give up their nuclear weapons systems, and trust Russia's pledge on non-aggression in future times. As an American combat Veteran (US Army 505th PIR 82nd Airborne Div.) I am embarrassed that the USA unknowingly played a part of this deceptive manipulation by Russia. I am now proud of America's strong support of the absolutely Courageous Ukrainian People. And, I urge my Country as well as All free and democratic Counties to continue, and even increase their support of Ukraine and Ukraine's most Valiant People in their struggle against the egotistical psychopathic Russian "Leader", Vlaimir Putin. I humbly disagree. If so, we would have done something in 2014, but Obama refused to give Ukraine weapons, we trained the Ukrainians and gave them non lethal aid. During Trump admin they got javelins. I personally believe the reason we decided to help Ukraine is bc the media was so involved showing the refugee crisis as ppl were getting bombed as they tried to leave. Biden offered to get Zelinskyy out of the country and he said he did not need a ride, he needed ammunition. We saw the Ukrainians put up a fight and led by a brave leader. Most ppl expected a Russian takeover within a short period and I personally expected a slaughter and feared they would kill Zelinskyy, but there were heroes, great men that lost their lives and held off the attack of Kiev. Remember Hostumel and Bucha are mere suburbs of Kiev. Ukraine was able to keep Russia at bay until the ammo started arriving, then Russia fell back from the North and took two weeks to regroup. When the Republicans won the House of Rep in Nov elections, the first thing the majority leader said was no more blank checks to Ukraine. Since then, they have complained about defending n funding their southern border from drugs and migrants instead of Ukraine. A portion seem to be on Russia’s side. Just imagine if Zelinskyy fled like the leader of Afghanistan did when the Taliban reached the capitol city. I believe Zelinskyy and his brave warriors are the reason Ukraine is not annexed today. He continues to fight and practically beg for long range missiles, planes and no fly zone, he gives almost poetic speeches via zoom at parliaments around the world, even the US award shows, films himself boldly in the streets of Kiev in total darkness from elec grid destroyed by Russian terrorism. He is not letting anyone forget that Ukraine is still fighting like hell, and coming close to demanding more. Zelinskyy was Time’s person of the year. He is relentless.

We won't start WWIII. Putin doesn't want to die, he isn't stupid, maybe crazy but not stupid. Russia cannot win a conventional war against NATO and the Ukraine and he knows it. I live in Poland and I am not a supporter of the current government, but from the inside I must admit that almost all information about breaking the rule of law, discrimination against LGBT people, etc. is simply not true. This information is the result of the war between the bureaucrats from the European Commission and the current government, which is rebuilding Polish industry and making independent, but good for Poland, decisions. unfortunately, these decisions are increasingly incompatible with EU policy. Thanks for the scathing reminder about the Budapest Memorandum. It is inexcusable that my country (USA) not only dishonored the Budapest Memorandum but also now provides inadequate weaponry and expects constant gratitude from Ukraine. After Ukraine's victory, I expect that some Ukrainians will tell us what they *really* think of us. Meanwhile, let's call our Senators and Representative and insist we send long-range missiles and warplanes now (before the Republicans take over the House). Slava Ukraini!

Watching carefully this conflict I came to the conclusion that Russia start to fear the Ukrainian fighters and the country's determination. These Ukrainian fighters are so bold and fearless that the Wagner group seems to start failing to provide a solid offensively. By this time now Putin start to realize the big mistake that he got himself into.

Wow, so interesting to learn more about eastern European history and the Budapest Memorandum. Slowly, this Russian invasion has taught so many of us, what Russia is really like and what Russia has done to Ukraine over decades and beyond. There is genuine admiration of the strength and determination of Ukrainians to be free of Russian control and the reasons for this keep becoming clearer,. Why is it that politicians so often miss the point and don't learn from the past? It is obvious and plain to see that Putin is a high functioning psychopath and yet there were, and still are, European leaders who think they can negotiate with him. The West, including Europe, owes Ukraine on Ukrainian terms, not Russian terms. As for Maria Zakharova's crocodlile tears. Is there anyone who actually believed she was genuine?

It is a shame that the Budapest Memorandum is so little mentioned in the media, because the public hardly knows about the monstrous Russian breach of the treaty. And this allows the Western Russophiles to spread the lie about the West's complicity. And as you correctly recognize, the USA and Great Britain, as the other two guarantors of the treaty, have an obligation to stand by Ukraine. Thank you for stating this fact, it cannot be repeated often enough.

HAHA you claim Russia was the only party that breached this treaty?! I guess the 5 billion dollars Victoria Nuland handed out and OPENLY discussed what pawns Ukraine should have in power doesn't constitute as violation, just a "suggestion", "a nudge", "assistance"?! Choice of words is very important though! Ron, you suck! FYI she said "FK THE EU"?!

OUTSTANDING presentation THANK YOU!!! Once again POLITICIANS seem to be the root of the problem. Their ignorance and incompetence seems to be coming out for all to see. The Ukrainian people can NEVER be compensated for they acts of POLITICIANS, both in the past and today. So if today's POLITICIANS want to be considered relevant and HONEST, they have a MUCH work ahead. The only valid apology they can make is to ensure any measure of belief and trust in what they say and do, is to make Ukraine whole again. And see that Russia can NEVER AGAIN be in a position of power and influence. I hope the world will truly be a better place as a result of POLITICIANS showing a STRONG BACKBONE to Russia.
