I think it was James Worthy, or Michael Cooper said in an interview when asked who would he rather guard, Michael Jordan, or Larry Bird. Without hesitation he said, “Michael Jordan.” A bit surprised,the interviewer asked why and the reply was, “Michael make you look slow, Bird make you look stupid!” Clark makes her defender look confused!

@jimwebster73174 ай бұрын
@@marx41mans I understand your point. Right now the WNBA is a write off for the NBA. When and if things get tough for the NBA, they will drop them like a bad girlfriend. They don't make money, they are a charity. At times it's beneficial to support a charity, if you can receive a benefit by doing so. When that stops happening its the fittest that will survive. Adam Silver is not stupid. Supporting the WNBA is a tax savings and helps put some female butts in NBA seats. If they continue to allow butch feminists to control this league it will be phased out. The best chance going for the WNBA is players like CC, and the upcoming talent from the NCAA. Players that have the respect and admiration of men. I think the fricking new unrivaled league will fail. The NBA will not bail them out. When the TV numbers don't come in, they will be dust in the wind. As the media landscape changes, soon these big TV rights contracts will eventually be lowered. If they get lowered and cuts have to be made, bye bye already bankrupt WNBA. But now because of CC the WNBA can profit if they are smart and don't blow it. Time will tell. And yes even in the real world men are becoming less supportive of women if they are like Carter, Britney, and Diana. But smart talented women can control men all day. Time will tell. I for one love the changes players like CC can bring. I want the WNBA to survive. They are at the very least entertaining. Although, sometimes it's comedy relief. I don't blame DT for the Olympics. The selection committee screwed Clark. DT is a baller and given the chance they never say no.

Caitlin Clark is the rebirth of the WNBA. She's fire!

Rebirth? She's the birth. This league has never made money. She is giving them a chance to make money for the first time in its history. A business that has never made money is not really a business. So far, it has been a charity for the men's league. CC is birthing this league. 🎉

@dannyvanswieten2484 Didn't mean to be petty. I understand what you're saying. My point of view is that I have never watched a WNBA game in my life. I would say many of the current fans have never watched this league before CC. For people like us, it's like the WNBA has just started. If you have been watching it all along, then I guess it is a rebirth. Once again, I didn't mean to sound petty.

Taurasi instead of cementing her greatness (which has substantially diminished with age) she pursued greed and selfishness by going after her 6th olympic gold rather than passing the baton to a phemomenal Clark. Jealousy just coulnd't do anyone good.

Catlin has "uplifted" her entire team. "If I set a pick, she will take advantage of it." "If I get open, she will get me the ball."

They should have accepted her with open arms instead of jealousy and resentment. Are you serious? She is going to only get better and that's a scary thought! Hail to woman's basketball and hail to Caitlin Clark!

I think it’s the changing of the guard in the WNBA. Taurasi averaged less than one point per game at the Olympics. Team USA just beat France by a hair in the final for gold. Can you imagine what Caitlin Clark would have done if the snotty Reese had let her play? She would have rocked it. Like untold thousands of others, I watched zero women’s basketball games at the Olympics. Without Caitlin, it’d be a snorefest. Caitlin is like a female version of Larry Bird, a great, impactful player who’s thrilling to watch, and makes their teammates better. I’ve never liked the WNBA, but I can’t get enough of Caitlin Clark.

Yeah I heard THAT statement loud and clear. And she was clearly speaking to Daryl Reeves. As she systematically shredded apart a team with 3 fossils, I mean, 3 ex olympians. Watch out all you other fossils she's coming for you too cuz there's nothing stopping this young terminator. Yeah Daryl you're on her list too. Run all you want she's still gonna find you!

It's over. Unless the WNBA gets women who can actually play basketball, Clark, and whichever teams she is on, is going to win the next 10 WNBA championships. Aja Wilson is the only one who has a chance to stop her. Sasquatch Griner's career is pretty much over and she's slow af. Taurasi is dead weight now. What a clown show.
