The guys who got sprayed with gas didn't make it 10 ft before their entire van went up in flames because of the static electricity from everyone getting in the car, and the sliding doors shutting. They bailed out of the car and ran down the road some of them partially on fire. No idea if any of them were caught by the law, but they lost a van and got some serious burns most likely. Fire department came and put out the van, and cleaned up the gas. The old lady defending herself didn't get in trouble and they have a picture of her inside the store holding a gas nozzle like a gun signed by her.

A natural response. I'm still mad at /v/ to this day for making me aware the site exists. Wondered in to talk about vidya one day in like 2011 and everyone was saying le this and le that in sarcastic tones and someone called me a redditer for making a lame joke. I asked what reddit was and someone pointed me to it. I went to check it out and it was unnavigable and made me sick so I left it in the shit pile I found it a few minutes later. I naively thought that that was the last i'd hear of it. Fuck was I wrong.

It’s r3t4rd-simple in terms of functionality and I like that the posts aren’t archived so it has kind of an ephemeral feeling. obviously a cliche by now but the biggest issue with 4chan is the people on it who haunt the really cursed boards like /pol/ and /r9k/ but the anonymity makes it exciting and devious and you just kinda get sucked into the autism and everyone makes a complete tool of themselves. a lot of great memes and text interactions go down on there and the green text stories are always pretty entertaining. I get why it’s stood the test of time and I’m glad it’s not super corporate and sterile like Reddit became years ago.

@Teh Slime It's also not really good for anything barring chatting, Reddit has its uses when it comes to actually finding discussions and keeping that content around and having productive conversations, 4chan is far more suited to disposable humor.
