Maybe what are the best places to farm? I know some regions offer more marks for quest completion than others, as well as offers quests that tend to be more of a challenge based on item scarcity.

After Alio's combat weight nerf, it can! Although most alios are probably running slick feathers which would stop grab from working

Their nerfing slick feathers/scales (according to the ptb). These hides would no longer make you immune to pounce or grabs. Instead these abilities will make the attacker's stamina drain faster when you are bucking or struggling.

Wise and true words! The damn algorithm and I have been going toe to toe for a while 😅 I’ve actually been doing this whole thing for a while now and experienced some burnout a bit back. Only switched to covering PoT content in the last few months (started with streams). Doing these videos has been a lot more rewarding than what I was doing previously. Kind words like yours really do brighten up creator’s days, I do really appreciate it

​@@KhanwareI have a lot if grievances with this game. I play on X Box, so the combat has been a struggle. There's only so many buttons to bind the abilities. So I'm having to hold down LB and press X,Y,B,A for some of them while shifting my thumb back and forth aiming with the right stick. You'd pretty much have to play "claw" just to make it work. Holding LB and left trigger for precise turning while doing all this is awkward to say the least. For me it is anyways. Against M&K it's no contest, so I die a lot. That's a me problem I guess. Bucking works only when it wants, us it just broken on console?? I've spammed jump and just casually tapped it. Like I said, most of the time I just get ripped up. How about a beginner's guide kind of video for new players?? Tips for growing, getting away and fighting tips maybe?? Things I wish I knew when I started. New players could benefit and maybe older players would learn something new too.

@@jamonherman9364 Man, that sucks. I don't play on console so I had no clue about all that. I wonder if other console players have found solutions. Some sort of best routes to use for growth/marks video is a popular one, so I'll most definitely do that :) I've highly debated making build guides and combat guides for specific dinos, maybe I will now, they would definitely cover combat/escaping. All good suggestions, I'll add them to my idea list. Thanks!

Why tf does Camptosaurus have a lower combat weight than Achillobator? This was a bison sized animal! No Haatz should be able to pick it up.

A lot of the scaling in PoT is wonky. In real life, campto was supposed to be almost 20 feet in length!

A Sarco list would be quite helpful too. Found out sub Kentro was grabbable the hard way

Kentro can be grabbed by a sarco even if the kentro is an adult (given that the sarco is also an adult). An adult sarco can grab anything that has 3000 or less combat weight and is NOT wearing slick hide. This includes an adult anodontosaur too!

Only risky herb to pounce would be stego in all honesty, sucho n spino for carnis. This video was very helpful

This is actually supposed to change at some point (hopefully). They’re supposedly reworking the anti pounce hides so that it’s not total immunity. It will just drain the stamina of the pouncer/grabber while pounced/latched faster instead!
