What can I put down my garbage disposal?

This is why my grandpa would take the garbage disposals out of his rentals. People don't use them right. It's just there for the small particles that rinse off after you've scraped your plate into the garbage can.

Ya take a crap in the toilet don't ya ? It goes down the pipe ,and to the sewer. So does the garbage .Duh.........

@@bruceshenkel6991 when you take a crap you are sending biodegradable stuff. Disposal waste is not always biodegradable and it is more solid so build up in the pipes can more easily happen

@@bruceshenkel6991 When I moved into a new house I had to fix the sewer pop that was clogged, pulled out a weave and condoms. Some things are ok for the pipes, others not so much.
