Nepal siding with India seems practical and most likely even though Nepal will likely take a neutral stance initially. But this could seriously compromise/ threaten Nepal’s sovereignty and independence. And while all this happens, Nepal’s relation with China will also have a lasting effect even in post- war context. So I think Nepal’s main priority should be survival not winning.
