I’m in Texas and I went to get my very dirty car washed. I drove up and asked how much just a basic wash is and the woman told me “Ten dollars and a hug”. I paid her then got out of my car and gave her a great big hug. She held on tightly for awhile and when I pulled away, she had tears in her eyes. She said to me, “You just made my year.” We need to hug more strangers. ❤

@@np8173 here is something I learned that you might enjoy. Most of us lean to the left to hug, meaning right side goes into right side. I was in a class where they told us to go the opposite way so we are heart to heart, literally we are then sharing our heart energy with each other. Of course, because we naturally go left, I tell the person why, so then hopefully they remember to share their heart energy with others as well. 🩷

I spoke with a MAGA supporter today who actually didn't know he had felony convictions. She was honestly shocked. What is FOX actually telling these people if they miss something that significant? She actually didn't think he would do the Project 2025 plans as well, somehow didn't know Bannon is now bragging that it is being implemented. I explained how this was affecting women, minorities, myself as a lesbian losing my rights. The environmental impact, the veterans who will lose benefits. Swore she doesn't agree with any of those things. She didn't know women are being threatened with rape, that LGBTQ people are being harassed and in more terror, minorities harassed more. I read liars very easily, and she was not lying, she knew about none of it. Keep talking with people if Spirit asks you to, folks. With caring if you can. They may be very in the dark. Bizarrely.

I don't feel I am giving up, but in self reflection, my hatred for the republican leader is so strong I could easily have flashes of darkness. Now, I am concentrating on being kind to myself and pushing away from dark thoughts. Asking myself many times a day, is this energy mine? If mine I can change the outcome, this situation is not mine. I can only affect my life and those close to me. Now I send protecting light to those I know and love in the lgbtq+ community, immigrants (one is my lovely son in law), my beautiful grandsons, anyone I know thinking of having children, and the list continues. I'm finding my peace because if I'm tossed around by fear, anger, and outrage then I struggle to recognize the better path, the higher and truer direction that will lead me out of chaos and darkness. If we can do that individually, that helps others do the same. Once we're out of the darkness, it's so much easier to see the rest of us and join together. One person working in love will change a few things, millions of people working in love will change everything. I've been working on it since 2016 and I wish I could say that I have mastered it, but I haven't. I look at the dump as my lesson in learning how to surrender to and live in Divine Love, even with those who would be my enemy. The quiet, softer turnaround, poetic justice part at the end of the video reminded me of the end of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. They had lost everything, but they had each other. They gathered together in a circle, held hands and sang a song of gratitude. I know this is a fairy tale ending, and life doesn't always turn out the way we want. The point is you make the best of the situation, you carry on, not giving into the chaos. Chaos is what they want, they want us to fall apart. So, let's show them what gratitude, and love can do. I love what you said Ellie. Find Like minded groups to join, participate, volunteer, donate (Local Democratic Party, Local NAACP, Poor People's Campaign, Climate Change groups, Charitable Groups, etc...) Ex. Local Democratic Groups need office volunteers, activity volunteers, post card writers and sign distribrution, help with fundraisers etc... They also do some socials, like cookouts, speaker presentations, Christmas meet-up dinner at restaurant. They usually have Senior group, LGBT group, Young Dems group, and Everyone Group. They have annual convention to elect local reps to attend the State Convention to vote on Reps to the DNC Convention. In my suburban Connecticut town, there was a group of MAGA people after the election waving signs like "wake up, socialism sinks all boats" and "join the fury of an aroused republic." I honestly have no idea what they mean, or what they want? It freaks me out. Then I hear older, staunchly conserviaive Republicans saying "you know nothing is going to change much". I have noticed how people come together after a disaster. I grew up with tornadoes in the midwest and blizzards in the northeast. In the big '78 blizzard in Massachusetts I met neighbors I had never spoken to before. We all cared for and helped each other. I think that's the big lesson the universe is teaching us with disasters of all sorts. We are here to love and care for each other. It will be interesting to see what groups form after this political disaster. My mantra is, "Everything is perfect for what I need to know now" It keeps me on a positive track as I try to figure out why it's perfect.
