What can viewers expect from the upcoming John Gilligan documentary?

A TV show featuring a lengthy interview with criminal John Gilligan is set to air this week in what is being dubbed the ‘Confessions of a Crime Lord.’
But does the Virgin Media show deliver what it says or has it simply given the publicity hungry Gilligan another platform to air his lies?
Nicola talks with Niall Donald about the revelations or not of the man who insists he didn’t order the murder of journalist Veronica Guerin.

I experienced Savile and his links to the late Cardinal Keith O'Brien first hand as an adult and as a teenager. Savile went to Lourdes with sick parishioners from this Archdiocese of St. Andrews and Edinburgh ! He went to stay many times at St Joseph's Rosewell which was a Sisters of Charity run Home for people with learning disabilities. God help those poor souls. I got a spokesman from the Archdiocese to admit there had been an enquiry but He wanted me to ring and speak to him instead of e-mailing. I wouldn't, I would want an explanation in print! Great stuff here on the podcast, keep on keeping on. 🙋

John Gilligan is in my opinion a sociopath who has perjured himself by giving up his son to alleviate his own sentence. His son was only visiting his father and Gilligan used his son to get a reduced sentence for himself. He is pure evil. All my own opinion.

Regardless of your views on Gilligan. I think a movie about him would be good. How he started off and where he ended up. He was the biggest dealer at the time. When he got locked up it effected the whole country getting hash to smoke. These two are salty little windbags just raging they not involved in the interview. 34 is no age, but I've seen both sides- been a victim of publishers and had my life irreparably damaged, and, had all manner of break-ins and threats when I've written about the criminals in my life.But there were 2 untruths in that Guerin film..JG was portrayed as narcotics smuggler when it turns out it was cannbis ( 50% people want that decriminalised anyway), and secondly, Jessbrook was portrayed as a grand opulent manor house, which- unless I'm missing something- when I last researched it just looked to me like a basic bungalow with a gymkhana. Was he really making £ 2 million a year...seriously!!? He was a good family man and cherished his wife and kids- unlike some of the 'great and good' english crims who regularly sell their own kids to peedo rackets and are written up as the 'doctors' and 'saints' ...or given a knighthood. JG struck me as despite his very hard, poor background, he refused to be a victim.
