How does a computer generate rules?
@arjundhanasekar8718
@arjundhanasekar8718 4 жыл бұрын
@@tonn333 the rules are generated by the inputs given, so really what that means is that depending on the algorithm it's using, the model will predict an output and then it tweaks it's own algorithm a little bit to suit the actual output. So say it is a model used to identify dogs and the output for a dog is 1 and anything else that isn't a dog will be 0. The input will be an image of a dog that will be run through the model. After it has run through the model, the model will generate an output which maybe 0.68. It will then compare this value to the actual output (which is 1 because the input image was a dog) and tweak its model so that the output value next time an image of a dog is run through, the output value will be closer to the desired output. So in essence the Computer generated rules are the tweaked version of the model.

Apart from official Blender site, you can find lots of videos of Blender plugin developers right here on YT. Plus, you could watch the interview that Blender Guru has made recently to Toon Roosendaal, the founder of Blender Foundation. Very interesting. An upsetting thing is that recently official Blender KZbin account has been blocked by KZbin in USA because Blender didn't allow ads on their video because, perfectly coherent with an open source organization, they don't want to get profit from their videos on KZbin, since obviously it's against the concept of Open Source itself! Not everyone wants to make profits!

It’s noteworthy to mention that Python’s application is growing on the Data/ML side, while it’s presence is shrinking in web apps, as JavaScript is taking over that field. Flask is mostly reserved for prototyping small applications. While Django remains a popular backend framework, 80% if not more of respectable companies use Node as their backend.

@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug Surprised to see a reply to a 4yo comment. You're entitled to your opinion, just make sure you're qualified, which you may or may not be, to reply. For the record I've worked as a dev at a publicly traded tech company in the US for a few short years. JS isn't the best but each language has its quirks. JS just happens to be natively compilable by most if not all modern browsers. Yes it is much slower compared to C++ but so is Python, yes it is single threaded but the event loop is a perfect design for web's interactiveness plus you can leverage service workers if you have to, yes it is untyped but so is Python, plus they're both kinda typed now (with Typescript), and yes prototypal inheritance is weird but since ES6 everything looks like regular OOP, besides Python is not strictly OOP like Java either. Each language serves its purpose more or less, and they evolve over time, it is perhaps a bit extreme to call any trash.

@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug The thing is since you are someone who isn't qualified at all as you mentioned, no one truly cares about your opinion. Any "qualified person" or experienced programmer would ALWAYS agree with what he just said and not at all care about your opinion.

@JustinWilliams-ed2ug to be honest when I read your comment then it's quite easy to understand why you are not a qualified person for this at all

@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug I can't believe this thread is still gaining traction. Fwiw we still haven't heard about your qualifications, nor have we heard constructive feedback from you. With all due respect, what background do you come from Justin? Anyhow, if you dislike Javascript so much, you're always free to create a new browser and invent a better, simpler programming language that runs in it and knock Chrome off the throne. You will be forever remembered if you pull it off.

@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug Are you referring to the part where you say “I constantly see programmers WAAAAY over program things I ask for help with even when I specifically tell them to make it as simple as possible”? Out of your comments, that’s the only thing that remotely introduces your background. Even then, this is hardly detailed enough to provide context, would you care to enlighten us on your background a little more?

This video is a gem for people who have no idea what to learn to get into whatever they want to get into. I, for one, picked up python for data analysis. Glad I didn’t pick up the wrong language. Lol. However, I would also like to learn to build mobile and desktop apps and this video helps me understand how python isn’t the right language to do the same. I will now start with javascript. Thank you for this video 😇
