All I can say about her dive is wow, I think once I gingereley climbed up all them stairs to platform, then the fear would set in and I be uncontrollable shaking and feeling faint, I would love to just jump from there but honestly don't think I could even look over the edge ha ha

It's a function of age. As we age our sense of balance gets somewhat impaired, making us a little more scared of heights. The things I did as a kid would make me fill my pants now.

@@that.ll_do_pig Pain. The great equalizer lol. I remember when I was about 13/14...we were tubing down our local ski hill which was a town of 250 and very remote. The hill itself started at about 200 feet of vertical at a 45 degree angle and then mellowed near the bottom and that was only the lower face. We heard a deafening scream and turned around to find out friend Lori had broken her leg as she hit the jump near the bottom. I've never heard anyone scream with that sense of agony since. I can't imagine breaking a big bone....I've only ever smashed a fingertip with a hammer lol.

One time when I was about 10, I went to the lake with my friend and her father. I felt kind of pressured to go up the ladder on the driving board. I got terrified and went RIGHT back down, forcing the other kids to back down off the ladder, too. I regret nothing 😂
