I'm using the inline system for PVA bags, the lead clip system for long range fishing (roving the rig out) and the helicopter system for all my general fishing (heli safe).

Hi Leon, the Korda heli clips put the rotary rig into another league. Try them on zigs, very reliable lead release.

I'm a bit of a heli addict, but I need to realise there's some situations when I should push the bead away from the lead to allow for the depth of the silt 😩

silly beginner question but what is the best all round system? say i have no idea what the bottom is like? weedy and hard etc? many thanks
@LEONBARTROPPCARPER4 жыл бұрын
There isn’t a best all round I’d go with a clip system and try and find out what you are fishing over first then adjust

Hi Leon, Do certain rigs suit 1 of the 3 lead setups or do you think any rig can be used on all 3? Lets just assume bottom is clear, hard etc for the point.
@LEONBARTROPPCARPER5 жыл бұрын
If bottom is clear then any setup will work

Hi, I’m quite confused as to how the helicopter rigs and running rigs work because I don’t really understand what hooks the fish as there is no direct contact with the lead. Does the hook do the job itself?
@LEONBARTROPPCARPER4 жыл бұрын
Very good question, the back stop of the helicopter and the sharp hook will hook the fish when the fish picks up the hooklink and the swivel butts up against the top bead.
