Oh my cat does not do this . She sees her humans get ready for bed and she goes to bed too, I keep her bed on top of a night stand next to my bed. As soon the alarm goes off in the morning she gets up to stretch and makes sure her humans are also up and ready to start the day. I truly believe she doesn’t know she isn’t a human

As far as I know only one of my cats does that. She's the one on the right in my profile picture. She likes to sleep either by my head or on my feet, and when her demonic brother (the one on the left) comes in she gets pissy. Sometimes he's chill and just wants to sleep, but he still has no manners lol. He lays right on her and she hates that. He is the one who's crazy at night I'm guessing.

Oh wow, Jugg and Zig Zag are getting so big. They're catching up to their big brothers quick. We have a tortie, and she's a pretty big cat as well, so these two might get bigger than the boys. Pretty funny how Cole and Marm are tussling, and at 1:09, they're like 'oh shoot, the kids are watching'. So glad that the girls have settled in so well. I know everyone suggests it's necessary but i have one and he's really bonded to me more than when I had two. He gets all the attention and just clings to me almost constantly. I used to put seed out for the birds and water (entertainment for my kitty), and now we have a feral that comes by and sleeps in the yard. Also rescued a rabbit and my cat snoozes in the same room with her.

easytoslip So your kitty’s not alone when you’re not home-that’s the key thing. With old cats, that’s not an issue since they’re contented to spend pretty much all of their alone-time sleeping, but with youngsters there’s a potential boredom/loneliness factor.

@peterr Growing up my family had multiple cats and the mess they made was far less than what dogs make. I have had dogs too and talk about huge messes. Plus the cats don't pee or poop where ever. They have their box and know how to clean their business. I like dogs but I love cats. I prefer the felines. 😸

My neighbours' cat goes out hunting at night (like most cats) and then comes through my window at around 5 in the morning to a) get some attention and b) to cuddle for a bit. Sometimes we sleep together for hours (peacefully, I might add), sometimes she's getting on my nerves (because she's not too tired yet), so she either goes to another room or goes outside again. She's super cute, but sometimes I'm like: noooo. let me sleep, furry demon! :D
