Excellent Presentation. The passing of Seven Trains with the written authorizations provided by the Station Master of New Jalpaiguri in lieu of faulty automatic signals and the non-observation of guidelines by five trains shows that apart from written authorizations, there might be established unwritten verbal orders are in process across the entire Indian Railway System to clear the traffic without any delay and to avoid the trains track occupancy at Stations. This aspect should be looked into. Further, with the introduction of Vande Bharat Trains across the country without the much needed track renewal and upgradation; the Indian Railway System is put to lot of hardship and all trains are running with much delay.

That is very alarming for all rule abiding people. If you are going by bike and the road limit is 40 kph a car has 60 kph, and most of the cars run above 80, this is the reason for most crashes.

Commissioner of Railway Safety is not part of Railway, he is independent of Railway, he is working under ministry of civil aviation.

Not having radio walkie talkie between Loco Pilot and train manager gaurd is just unacceptable beyond any level. Walkie talkies are widely available, civiliana are using it. Railway Department should not have allowed this. Thank you for your report, na bhoolenge na bhoolne denge.

Sir, your serial videos on bengal train accident or say Hathras baba should be standard teaching material for all students of journalism - under graduate/ post graduate. This will generate a generation of journalists who would know what a follow up is in investigative reporting. You are re defining investigative journalism for the good.

Note that the article 5.3.2 says that the Kanchenjunga Express started at 08:33 and travelled for 11 minutes at 15kmph but it reached next signal at 08:39 which is a contradiction.

What are you talking about? He is explaining what the report days. Nothing Biased about it. Makes sense that multiple failures happened to cause this accident. My biggest take away is that we dont know how to run a friking train in the railways especially in ODISHA. 2 Major accidents in 2 years. And we are going for a Bullet train. Friking Joke. BJP has been in power for over a decade. And this is the result we have in the railways?
