Brent is a down to earth guy. Before starting any task, he puts a lot of thought into it. I am old Man of 85, but have love of mechanics and still do all work on my 94 Buick. Really think of Brent as my younger brother and look forward to each video. Been with him for about 2-3 years. Great satisfaction in watching Brent do his tasks..and they are done the best he can and no short cuts. One guy in a hundred. 😊

I'm not exactly sure when I started watching Brent, but I was introduced to his channel through a video from DD Speed Shop, where he bought a Model T body from Brent and went to the shop to pick it up. It has been one of my must-watch channels since.

After going back and finding the video of the model T, I was amazed to realize it was not purchased from Halfass Kustoms at all, but from Zombie Customs, but Brent had a part in the purchase. Either way, It was around 4 years ago that I began to watch Brent and his builds.

We who build classic cars and trucks will always rebuild from the ashes or set backs I lost my shop to the resection I'm rebuilding I lost everything and slowly building up my tools and equipment on my own but we give Brent and his family support 100% to me I look to other builders like there family because we are a brotherhood of car builders with the same passion and love of old cars and trucks I build hot rods off road vehicles and rat rods and sometimes I build lower riders I grew up in L.A. around old school builders and learned there skills from them

Few shop owners invest in effective automatic fire suppression systems and having LARGE wheeled portable fire extinguishers though those are easy to find used and have serviced. Many store flammables indoors but don't use lockers built for the purpose. All it takes is a backfire through a carb, a short circuit like the Ford truck cruise control switch is prone too, poor wiring etc and your hard work goes up in flames. While nothing is fool proof if you have a choice don't use wooden buildings, do have at least a sprinkler system, and do as much hot work (welding, torch cutting etc) outdoors as practical. Have small and large portable extinguishers at hand in quantity because fire moves fast.

I started watching Brent About a year or or little longer before the fire. I truely admire his way of dealing with set backs and rolling with life's punches. His talent is also something to watch for sure. I like that his wife shares his interest and his grandsons work on cars with him there to , would love for mine to do that
