Lags can come from the amount of the pixels in the resolution, eventually, if you are increasing the amount of the pixels in the resolution causing a ton of lags in a game or camera app, or program! So it's very important to have 1280x720 resolution!

Lag will always exist since the closer you are to eliminating any lag caused by data transmission, the closer you will be to the limit of the speed of light. From which point on, no algorithm can be used to eliminate the lag which is not probability based, which in turn does not retain the consistency of all inputs.

Soul Gen, then prepared to be incredibly lonely for the rest of your life. SP games will NEVER EVER BE EVEN REMOTELY NEARLY AS FUN AS MULYIPLAYER GAMES. Furthermore, that's a very horrible attitude. EA servers are in fact not horrible. Besides, if you have a good connection, you can have a smooth connection with with 350 ping. True story. The lag I experienced in Dark Souls was so bad I had to attack in front of my opponents movement. Fun fact: There's even lag on your very own computer itself. Not only do the keypresses and mouse movements take time to travel through the wire (or air if you're on wireless), they also take time to be processed by the CPU, take time to be rendered by the GPU and take time by the screen to draw all that. Only after the CPU is done, it can send that data through tiny copper connections to your internet connection. It all happens more quickly than you can even process, but it all adds up.

I think he was lagging Also a solution to your "exact same time shot" is for your computer to store the exact time of when you shot it, and send the server the time and the data to compare, although there would have to be some anti-hack things to stop hackers from editing the times. Edit:TY for all the likes, and also responding to a comment, we could make it so the server does all the processing while you just send in your inputs, and its like KZbin, where you get the game streamed to you. In-fact this is already being worked on by google, and they think that It will make lag-free gaming, with as close to 0 ping as possible, so there are ways, just since its google they will be doing all the processing therefor needing a beefy server computer but this is google they have the money.

That wont really work because every time you shoot that sould mean the server would have to wait x amount of time to check if another shot was made but came a bit late due to higher ping, so what would the size of x be? that would infact be a terrible idea. If you decide to make x so small it wont feel laggy for the person shooting, then this method wont be effective anymore.

@@KevinWho See, I admire your passion and all but you don't seem to understand what lag is form a technical level really is, its a result of data packets taking a long time to get from your PC to the server and vice versa, so when you said "so the server does all the processing while you just send in your inputs", that is in fact whats already happening, when you shoot, the action of shooting is sent to the server, just like walking forwards and such. Even if the server actually does all the rendering and physics calculations on its end, that does not change the fact that your packets can still arrive later than other players. When they say that streaming games will be lag free, they mean that the data packets containing the video feed will arrive so fast, that you wont even feel that the game is being played on an entire different network and computer. But like is said, this fact doesn't mean that *your* data packets wont arrive slower than others, that depends on how fast your download connection is to the specific server you are playing on. How this helps :)

Many players blame lag even though the problems are in their gaming settings. If your PC, Windows, NIC etc. settings are somewhat default you may stuck at the average or low level and shoot blanks. Set up your NIC and Windows settings to get most out of it. And disable all the image enhancements, fullscreen optimizations etc. The less decorated game the more responsive your PC and connection is and the better gaming experience.

This is why the next console generation will not have "Stream only" games like Ubisoft would want you to think. Even on the US there are still places stuck with less than 5mbps/Dial up or even no internet at all. You can not provide a service like this with such a disconnect in infrastructure. The world was not build to handle that much data anyway. So unless massive upgrades are made to the entire worlds data transmission, streaming games will remain a laggy luxury.

You have 3 forms of lag (internet lag) 1 (Display lag) 2 and (input lag) aka controller, and or keyboard and mouse 3. The Nintendo Switch Smash Bros Ultimate the Game Cube controller has the least input lag as an example. Hope this helps you understand lag better, I know it helped me! 😁

l7keft - Conan exiles is a lagtard game. You climb up a wall, and if your connection is unstable, the game will toss you to the ground and you’ll die to fall damage. Sad because climbing is one of the main features of the game.

no thats just a ghost hit. thats the enemy shot or your shot not registering in the game system. it has nothing to do with lag, its just a badly programmed game

@@Th1n1ceStr1der no those are the steam servers taking a dump... even on wallpaper engine the workshop suddenly crashes. or in assetto corsa when i race online i disconnect then steam says "you might have to wait for a few hours until someone fixes the steam servers"
