I think my favorite parts were the "Micah cam" on the roller coaster and when she said, totally deadpan after The Spider, "I didn't like it." XD

She is to young for that.
@CaitlynSpencer3 ай бұрын
@@catlady4799 Just because she didn't enjoy it doesn't mean she's too young. She had lots of fun on the other coasters and clearly met the height requirement, or they wouldn't have let her ride. Some people don't prefer coasters that spin, and that's ok. She's allowed to like or not like whatever she want. I think the way that she maturely said, "I didn't like it," rather than screaming and crying or throw a fit showed she was definitely old enough.

In our house my husband handles the laundry and I handle making sure dishs are done. Our teenage kids have a designated day they do their own laundry on and if they forget they have to work it in around everyone else. it works for us. I have blue painters tape labels on my drawers so he knows where my clothes go.

My hubby does his own laundry once a week. When we finally got our house years ago, i made sure my two sons and hubby had their own laundry hamper. One trick I use to dewrinkle clothes so I don't have to iron is to either throw a damp wash cloth or even a few ice cubes into dryer and set on the dewrinkle cycle for a few minutes.

I loved watching Micah ride the roller coasters. Laundry is such a pain to do. At least we don’t have to wash clothes like they did long ago using wash boards and having to hang everything up on a clothesline. Yikes 😮. Love seeing all of you. Love you guys 🥰

If the weather is good, spring, Summer, Autumn we still hang all our washing outside on lines, there is nothing like the softness and smell of clothed line dried washing. It’s strange to us that in the U.S.A you tumble all your laundry then just fold it. Here I and a good majority then iron all the washing, which takes hours sometimes when the clean washing has piled up. Our Children however don’t tend to iron, but I can’t bear creased anything, I even iron underwear, when first married even ironed our socks. The Joy of laundry!😂🥰😕🥺😭😤

The system that worked for me if I have 1 day a week that I only do the laundry so I’m not doing it here and there. It took the stress out of needing to do it ASAP. We are a family of 5 and having that day just made it so much better. That works for me but it may not be for everyone. But laundry is my favorite chore so I dont mind doing it😉

But putting it up is a whooooole different story 😂 I'll fold it and put it back in the basket and it'll sit there for a few days. I do a load of laundry a day. Once a week I wash all bed linens and dry them. It takes longer on those days, BUT nothing like when our 2 daughter were growing up. I would do 2 loads of laundry a day. Wash, dry, fold, hang, and put it all away, upstairs 😩. I was a stay at home mom from the time our first daughter was born until our last daughter started Kindergarten full time. I started my teaching career for the next 23 years until early retirement was offered and I knew my grandchild was “cooking in the oven” and I wanted to be the one to care for her as my daughter was in nursing college and working patient transport at the Hospital. I became my only granddaughter’s caregiver, day care, and preschool teacher from 6 weeks old until she was starting school full time. I would have her up to 13-16 hours a day at times.

I’m going to come off as a negative Nancy…For once I agree partially with Austin. Plan a day(s) for laundry and get it done. BUT there’s no reason why he can’t help with it or have the kids help out, especially the girls. Same with dishes, cleaning up toys and bedrooms. I have always involved my son with chores. Now he does his own laundry and vacuums the house. We have a clothesline now so we use that as much as possible until winter. And even then on nice days, bedding and lite clothing gets hung out. If something happens to get left in the dryer overnight, a few minutes on air fluff helps. It’d be a bit different if one of you worked outside the home, but you both work from home, your girls (one of which is in school all day), are of the age they can help or entertain themselves for a little bit. No excuses. Also, not a huge fan of leaving the girls to eat alone. As an adult I’ve scared myself choking while alone!

genuine question: With Lucas's Phace syndrome and his other health concerns, will any of that affect him with more high speed roller coasters in the future? Sorry I'm not as knowledgeable on this subject. Just wondering if will be a limitation. Of course he is so little now and the things he goes on now isn't fast at all.

My best laundry savior is DOWNY WRINKLE REMOVER (I think that's what it's called). It's a miracle-worked on laundry. You just spray it on til the fabric is a little damp, then you hang the shirt somewhere like over a chair or a bed, and wait a few min til it's dry, and BOOM. No wrinkles. No ironing. Life changer!

When you’re a mom, you’re taking care of your laundry and the kids laundry. There’s no reason why a man can’t do his own laundry. If you don’t like wrinkles, that’s why God invented an iron. Mom’s have enough on their plate. They should not have to be a mother to their own husband. That’s why their Mom’s taught them how to do laundry laundry so they wouldn’t have to lie on somebody else to do it for them.

Why can’t he help with the kid’s laundry, or have the kids help with their own?!? Why is it solely Mom’s responsibility. Should be a household chore that everyone chips in!
