Takes me back to my childhood in Idaho Falls on Christmas Eve when we played the Christmas records...including the old Messiah one with the blue and gold cover. The other ones I loved were “The Joy of Christmas”, and “The Glorious Sound of Christmas”. You can still buy them on CD. We also liked the Boston Pops, Johnny Mathis and Nat King Cole. His daughter, Natalie, sang with the choir one Christmas!!

It is more difficult to sing while sitting. Hopefully she's not wearing a corset. She may only be 4' 10" ( give or take an inch or two). She has a very powerful voice.

I'm confused about this particular concert and I'm hoping someone can help. What arrangements were made where the concert was essentially shelved for a year and could only be viewed if you purchased the CD/DVD? It's got a weird feeling about it where it's the church's Christmas concert but someone is making money off of it. is that the way it normally is?

No they do it out of kindness

Thay is because the church has a agreement with PBS. They have the rights for the major christmas concerts. The year they are filmed are shown the next year on PBS stations. So this show will be shown on PBS and byutv this year. And this years show next year. Check out PBS or byutv. I am buying the dvd. As to making money, no tickets are sold, they are free but there are still bills to pay such as her salary so the cds and DVDs are used to pay bills for the shows and to help offset the choir and musicians travel and bills. So I dont think anyone is making money.
