One of the biggest problems with that season is the fact that almost everyone becomes ultra greedy. You don't think you are? How many years have you held the celebration and exchanged gifts with your family, all while knowing you have homeless or other less fortunate in your home area? How many pounds of food have yall prepared and not even think about sharing with a stranger who has less or nothing? No I'm not trying to get yall to out any works, but I am saying that a majority of ppl only think of themselves and close friends/family during that time of year. Lots of ppl like to play the part of "good will towards everyone" during Christmas, when in reality we should be living this phrase each and every day we are allowed to walk this earth. I absolutely can't stand it when ppl try to say our Lord was born on Dec 25. He absolutely WAS NOT. Even if He was, I doubt He would want any ties to this holiday due to how most ppl become extremely greedy. Also, if a person says they celebrate Dec 25 in the name of the Lord, is bound to be a hypocrite. How? We should be acting how He showed us every day, not just one season each year. Last, almost immediately after the gift openings, the dinners, the visits, etc. Most if not all those ppl, will go right back to their everyday selves and arguing with each other, fighting, you name it. Stop using the name of our Lord and Savior just to make yourselves feel like you aren't doing wrong when you actually are.

I praise Jesus, Our Lord and Savior everyday. I do not follow the pagan or worldly "christmas", even though His birth is not on the 25th that is when we celebrate HIM, I do not miss out on services that focus on HIM.❤❤
@Repentforyoursoul18 күн бұрын
All correct. But that means you too. Just because you speak wisely biblically, it doesn't exclude yourself from what you are saying. We are all hypocrites here one way or another but the worst of us are people who call out sins like this and continue to do the same, whether out of cowardice, procrastination, or laziness. But yes, I'm happy that someone has taken the first steps to calling this out.

This is why Paul Washer is a false teacher who preaches a false gospel of works, I was deceived by him for two years because he told me I had to turn from all of my sins to be saved which no person on this earth has done or can do or will do!! The only requirement for salvation and the only one that God will accept is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ plus nothing!!

Christmas is all about Jeremiah 10 Jeremiah 10:1-6 KJV - Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

Christ was conceived on 12/25, Chanukah. Christ was born on 9/29-9/30 at midnight in Feast of Tabernacles. Christ was on cross 3/30 (6 month difference from the day He was born). It is called Passover when He was on cross. Get right with Christ! He is coming imminently for His Bride! ✝️

You mean it’s not about the sun and its annual behavior every single year? It’s about some guy no one knows actually existed? I guess we should all continue to blindly follow. (Bleating sheep) Paul had a whole different idea. So does the universe. Love, Peace, Harmony. No need for doctrine or gods or anything existential. We all know how to love/hate. Preach one over the other. No religious competition, just love-peace-harmony. Is it so hard to understand? No religion, only love and compassion. Did Jesus not say something about what you do to the least of you, you do to me?

No, sir, how can a pagan religion tradition christmas be used by God to represent his means of saving those who have faith in his son, whom he sent on a life-saving mission.read John 3:16. Sir, you must not have read the bible at Luke Chapters 1 ,2 of God sending Jesus here as a baby in a manger.There were no wise men there with presents to give the baby Jesus.
@Frank-vk3jq16 күн бұрын
It is blasphemy to compromise the sovereignty of God with, man-made pagan practices. To celebrate "christmas' is to "blaspheme against the Holy Spirit"; the unforgivable sin! Christ Jesus never celebrated his birthday!

Mike Winger has a video disproving all these myths. Saturnalia started on the 17th and ended two days before Christmas. They’re not related to each other, other than when Roman pagans converted, they stopped Saturnalia and brought some of their customs when celebrating Christmas. That’s like saying Thanksgiving is really celebrating Martinmas, which is a European autumn festival on November 11th which is similar and where they took some customs from

I agree. Sounds good. He who is greatest shall serve. He became poor, so that through his poverty you could be rich. Jesus would have been the slave and given his life for the king. You see the king. Was an earthly king who lived in luxury and ease. The slaves act would have saved the soul of the king.

So,what was the actual date of His birth? I don't know, I wasn't there. Were you? Someone decided that December 25th would be a good date to celebrate His birth. What's wrong with designating 1 day out of the year to celebrate the birth of The Lord Jesus Christ? I see that some of you by your comments would prefer to not celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25th. Ok,so what date would you perfer? Should we adhere to your religious whims? After all you posess all wisdom and knowledge, right? Or just your opinion? What date was Jesus Baptized on? What date was Jesus Crucified on? What was the date the He rose again? Where are your answers biblical scholors? In professing their wisdom they reveal their ignorance. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principle thing, and in all of your getting, get understanding. After all, Father most certainly met with you before He created you to figure out what His plan should be. Stop straining out the gnat while you're chugging down the camel! Celebrate Jesus everyday,then your delima is solved. Don't be a Phairsee, otherwise you'll wind up "Sadusee". Leagalism sucks. Relationship is everything.
