Empaths are very susceptible to "compassion fatigue" especially after being over-worked amd overwhelmed. Its imperative that empaths take care of their own needs, participate in fun activities and have supportive relationships of thier own. Grounding and recharging in nature regularily is also important.

My mother was horrible to me and my younger sister. My mother caused so much drama, between my sister and I, dad's side of the family and eventually, I moved away to stay with friends. My relationship with most of my family had to be cut off, because of my mother. My sister doesn't like me either. We were treated differently, by our alcoholic mother. Seeing each other now, just brings up past drama. We decided to just peacefully, cut ties.

OMG My pick was the turquoise card. Everything you said was sooooo onpoint, what I went through in life, sacrifices I have made, I could be a very angry but chose to forgive to move on, feeling lost for giving too much, I work with high functioning disabled members it is so rewarding, I love them all, and yes I have lost myself, I am going to search through my crystals and pick out all the turquoise ones and make a necklace, soak my feet in epsom salt and say the prayers. Interesting fact, my hair colour is also turquoise since it turned slightly grey.
