It might be bad, but I really like the evolve atefact paired with the revive and saber. The evolve is key since you get so many keywords from your starting deck and it gets really silly if you get get deathless from an item

Very strong items for Aatrox is the one, that gives a fleeting copy of himself every turn, combined with the item that gives him +2/+2 whenever he takes damage. This enables him to use his hero spell, kill 3 enemies heal the nexus a bunch, grow quite big in the meantimes, reduce the cost of cards in hand by up to a total of 6 mana, and then regenerate at the end of turn. Cost: 6 spell mana for 3 attacks, (3-2-1). 3 spell mana with a 1 point cost reduction on either spells or created cards. (2-1-0) Against Asol he suffers a bit from the huge size of enemy heros, which he often can't initially survive to trade blows with.

I play AAtrox with double Berserker buckle and grand generals counterplan, each turn i get his spell champion to strike and thanks to the berserker buckle he goes GALACTIC

17:20 double the +2/+2 when damage is really good on Aatrox, allow him to play way more his champion spell, and get giant after, with his regen he get mostly unkillable by damage pretty fast also the hap spell becomes a +8/+8 by the cost of 2 life, and also can draw copies of him so you can stike more

Seing Swain in POC makes me want a 6 star Aatrox bossfight that can summon a big ass darkin every turn to be available since he is the world ender after all.

I beat lissandra with 3 star atrox last night Starforger gauntlet Death foil And Warhammer And took refill spell mana as my first power The death foil is really good on him as it allows you to use his champion spell to kill multiple enemies inside of attacking with his champ spell so he takes 0 damage And I'm excited for the minus 6 cost star power eventually

I got a similar effect, abusing his champion spell, with rare items only so far. Grand General's Counterplan, so he has a fleeting version of his champion spell available every turn and Berserker's Buckle, so he grows +2/+2 whenever he takes damage. His weapon already has Regeneration, so he can clear half the board from blockers, grow +6/+6 per turn in stats from killing them, and reduce a lot of card costs every turn, once he is on board, attacking or defending. I have him currently only at level 28, 4 stars, and haven't upgraded any slots to epic yet (and I don't have a lot of epic items to begin with). So far he only gets into trouble, when literally every enemy on board is as big as him or bigger, and there isn't enough small chaff on board to outgrow them. Once he hits lvl 30, I am considering Crownguard, so he can rally with all his fiends when leveling up, or Hymn of Valor against Asol, so he can heal and double his size for 3 mana, when he is up against really big dudes. Instead of Crownguard, Tempest Blade is also worth a thought, to just stun all defenders and rush in for the kill on level up.

I used to love PoC but runs like this just killed the feeling, poc used to be a fun place where op strats where just fun stuff like infinite kat, now its REQUIRED for you to have an OP strat, like man i went here bcs i dont like sweating in ranked

I really like the Crowguard Relic on Aatrox, Its always so Epic to Rally with a Full board of Darkin after playing World Ender

I just won against ASol with my 3 star Aatrox because I got a whole bunch of items on him, I had two relics that struck the weakest unit, one summon an ephemeral copy of me, one capture the strongest unit and deathless, it was a pretty fun turn against a full board of 20/20s

They need to make an epic relic for equipment decks like aatrox. Could be something like "if I am darkin +1 starting mana. All equipment costs 1 less." simple but it works for all the equip decks and darkin.

We had a double champ release with Akshan (LoR actually got him a few days earlier). I think there's a good chance we get more releases at the same time in the future now that Legends of Runeterra is under the wings of League Studio
