Remember the letter that Vi and Jinx found in, I believe it was episode 4 or 5, where Vander writes to Silco. I'm pretty sure in the alternate universe that Ekko was sent to, Silco actually received the letter and then the two of them, Silco and Vander, made up and started working together to better Zaun. I also heard people theorize that Jayce was exiled in that universe because of his unauthorized experiment leading to the death of a child, so Hextech was never founded, leading to shimmer being the big thing. Shimmer is from Zaun; Piltover sees the potential, and Piltover and Zaun arrive on peaceful terms(just a speculation I heard so take it with a grain of salt).

Maybe, but definitely Silco didnt make any moves, like in episode 1, when he learned Enforces went after Vander, after Vi's heist, because this time they caught those kids. This allowed for more room for cooperation, rather than rivalry.

considering Vander is still alive, I bet they had a talk instead because Vander wrote that letter when he was going to take the fall for Vi and turn himself in. More likely when Vi died topside and the Jayce was charged with her death Heimerdinger reached out to Vander to make peace with Zaun. Since Silco, Bozo 1, still saw Vander as a brother despite the action and in the loss of Vi and new prospect to fix Zaun without fighting or more bloodshed, they reconciled and negotiated for access to topside and better conditions for the lanes. Silco, in this timeline, might actually be on the council on behalf of Vander which solidified their friendship again which is why Vander stays a bar owner.

I think Vi dying shifted the trajectory of a lot of the characters. We know Silco and Vander are close to Vi because of her mom, maybe him finding the letter and Vi dying brought them back together.

my theory is that Vi AND Jayce died on that accident thats why hextech was never a thing and the only remnant was damages from the explosion and the gems Powder had. Kinda insane they never fixed that apartment after all those years.

In the alternate universe, Powder and Ekko were already a couple. Which is also why he asked "can we just pretend like its the first time?" because as a couple, they have kissed/made out plenty of times. Just our Ekko, who basicly possesed AU Ekkos body for the time being, had never kissed Powder before. Imo the whole dance / rooftop scene is the most beautiful part of the whole show. I cried my eyes out because it was so heartbreaking and heartwearming at the same time 😭

I also noticed something, perhaps I'm wrong but... Hear me out. As Powder helped Ekko build and create the hexgate, she noticed something in Jayce/Ekko journal about the project. Perhaps she figured out what they were building, after all, she is a very smart girl. And that means that she started to realize that this Ekko she was hanging out with and helping out wasn't her ''own'' Ekko. How is that possible? Well, if you look at Powder's facial expressions during the whole episode after she started working with Ekko, you can see sort of a melancholic stare she has, maybe accepting the fact that he has to leave somehow. And my confirmation of this theory happened during the rooftop scene when 1- she never questions Ekko's words: ''I gave up on you'' or ''can we pretend like its the first time?'' without context, those words would be incredibly confusing for Powder, but she doesn't react abruptly or strangely to those words and 2- when she says: ''sometimes, in order to make a leap forward, you have to leave some things behind'' she has a very sad look on her face while she says it. Again, acknowledging that he has to leave in that moment. She never stops Ekko and asks him about all these things, she goes along with all of it, why? because she is deeply in love with him, I think. Which makes it all the more heartbreaking.

One of them is Powder from AU.. so it's possible that she did time travel and at some point possessed Jinx. it has different voicelines too like when she faces Vi. my theory is that . The huge difference in the alternate world, is that hextech was never invented, and Vi dying.. Powder never touched the orbs again after the explotion one caused killed Vi, so it was never used as an explosive to try and help vander and Vi later, where the other 2 boys died. There is more to it as well once you've finished the show :3

@@felezeros4556 well I mean, it was still kinda semi successful as she still got away with the orbs. but in that timeline, Viktor prob didn't go back and save jayce, or give him the magic rune, so there was no Jayce at the door, which is why Vi was killed in that accident. Vi was prob assumed to be the only guilty one there too, so the case was closed 🤔

@@PiscesLin this can't be the case. Viktor still had to save Jayce, because there was hextech in the apartment. The whole orbs thing just seems to be a big plot hole, because vi can't be the only suspect with all her siblings being there before the cops were able to arive. Also Jayce would need to be at the door or else there would not be an explosion. Maybe he died to and no one was left to identify his orbs as his property? That could also be the reason, why Heimer is sure that Jayce won't arrive in this reality.

@@felezeros4556 the orbs wasn't necessarily the work of jayce there, what viktor gave him was one simple stone with a rune on it, not the orbs, so anyone else could have held the orbs. This is theories I've seen from avid league nerds tho so, obv it's all speculations since we weren't actually shown the full event 😊 but he was def not there for them to hear and start running in time to not get hurt by the explosion

The lanterns are Chemtech, not Shimmer. Chemtech is just chemical engineering but a little more steampunk. Shimmer is a form of Chemtech, but it's own thing. Ekko got isekaied into AU Ekko, so when he left, AU Ekko came back. Ekko and Jinx have been a thing for a long time before Arcane because they have some voicelines together. The main one being Ekko's "I had a crush on you, until you started talking to your gun." The TimeBOmb shippers get their AU, and us Lightcannon shippers are now hoping for our turn with that ending.

My assumption for the events that took place in the alternate reality is that Vi had gone into the room with Powder when she picked up the stones, and happened to be close enough to the explosion that she died. This would mean the chase never happens, so Piltover doesn’t push the denizens of the undercity and Silco never finds an opportunity of weakness in Vander before he finds the letter. Second, Jayce is held responsible for the death of Vi, which probably pushes the council more firmly towards banishment or imprisonment for negligence. Those two chains set off a reaction of events that lead to a far more peaceful and prosperous Piltover and Zaun.

My theory of the sequence of events in this alternative world: After Vi died during the accident, Jayce's research was discovered and this time, having caused the dead of a kid, he wasn't let go with just a slap on the wrist, even if Mel tried to intervene, he was probably banished or imprisoned. In Zaun, the dead of Vi probably caused all of them to unite against piltover, causing Vander and Silco to forgive each other. In order to avoid Zaun finding out that one of them was researching something so dangerous and forbidden, Piltover decided to accept the blame for the dead of Vi even if they were technically the victims, opening the space for negotiations between the two cities.

The catalyst for everything being fine in that universe is Vi dying. A kid's death made it an open-and-shut investigation. They didn't have to send enforcers to the undercity to investigate and Vander wouldn't have to give himself up. It also killed Hextech right then and there and thus the anomaly. On the other hand, Silco got Vander's letter, possibly after hearing about Vi's death, and forgiving him means NO Shimmer either.

my only thought is that, at that point in the story, Silco is already developing Shimmer. I guess after Vi dies, maybe he goes back to the hut, finds the letter and decides to forgive Vander, stopping all Shimmer research.

Silco never has the opportunity of Vander giving himself up to seize power. Grayson likely stays as an enforcer, working with Vander and the undercity, ETC ETC.

Regarding the dance scene animation style... apparently (I have heard) that the animation went to 4 frames per second since 4 seconds was the max time Ekko could go back in time. Just a sweet detail which this show is absolutely chock full of. Like this... You can see what looks like Ekko's face in the petals of the flower medallion as she spins it.

It's more likely that the death of Vi, being the daughter of their mutual close friend, brought them together while things didn't escalate as they originally did. And then, Heimerdinger, considering he's has been conscious of how things turn out in a different timeline, took even more proactive steps to fix the problem of the two cities by helpin make Zaun a reality.

No, In this universe Ekko was in love with Powder when they were kids (hence the Ekko's voice lines) But when Jinx went with Silco, he thought she was kidnapped so he tried to save her but then realised she was willingly working with him (and consequently ruining Zaun by selling Shimmer) and killing Firelights so their relationship was ruined, that's why he told Vi Powder was gone The AU show us 'what it could have been' as Hextech wasn't invented (Singed didn't do any of his shit) The artbook everyone's talking about is just full of of concept art, story boards and initial ideas from Fortiche, it's not an official data book. In Arcane, Ekko and Jinx later clarify some misunderstandings but it still is too early to say they are in romantic a relationship in this universe because clearly there's still too much bad blood and trauma going on

There are a few things in this series I don't think you quite grasp, just from how you evaluate it. Do you have ADHD, per chance? I deal with similar and have to really work on analyzing a scene and re-playing, which is likely not great for youtube, but i try to pick up on all the looks and dialogue and nuance to actually understand what is happening. 1. LoL Jinx was absolutely mimicked off of Harley Quinn, Arcane Jinx was never that way. She had actual trauma that shaped her reactions to things and wasn't evil for the sake of evil, and I don't think you've quite picked up on that yet. There's a method to her madness, and watching you flinch when she breathes has me concerned that you aren't picking up on that nuance. 2. Blisters & Bedrock, where Vander wrote the letter about being apologetic? No? Just forget that? 3. Jinx and Echo were already a couple. Hence why someone said "trouble in paradise?" and "what would you do without her?" in addition to "can we pretend like it's the first time?" it was well shown that they had an established relationship. 4. Shimmer/HexTech - shimmer was made via hextech, but it is not hextech at it's core. I recommend on your own in the future, re-watching all of it. You'll probably see the show overall in a different light.
