Yes made so much sense for me as it is pretty close to the 4080 sharing the same platform for that price. I use it for Sim racing mainly and I get well above 144 fps on 4k epic settings in ACC. More then I could ever ask for , best part is I'm barley stretching its legs.. neither works past 70% usage for prolonged periods, very balanced workload between the CPU and GPU 🍻🤙🏼

I have a 7600x and a 4070 ti super. Wanted to get a 7800x3d but with Canadian pricing it was just a bit too much considering there wasn't a HUGE leap in performance. To be honest i used a 5900x with a 3070 and I cant find 32gb ram and i can play multiple games, multiple tabs render stuff and still cant find a limit so anything beyond that shouldnt really be a problem . But I always dissable shadows if possible and bright lightning effects. No matter how they look when its dark it lasts in my eyes to hard.

Please need help!!! I use FS2020 in VR: HP Reverb G2. I had EVGA RTX 3080 TI 12GB video card, figured out my FS2020 settings the way i like, also using OpenXR. All the way i like. and in not busy airport i could get up to 40FPS, in busy up to 30. I just replaced video card with PNY RTX 4070 TI Super Verto Overclocked triple fan 16GB. I kept all settings the same and made sure they are the same. With new card i get exactly SAME FPS!!! Not even 1 more FPS - just same FPS!!! :( Why? I do not want to lower my setting to get more FPS because i can do same thing with my old EVGA RTX 3080 TI card and just return RTX 4070 TI Super. Seem like RTX 4070 TI Super is Garbage. My CPU is i5-13600kf, RAM DDR5 32GB, SSD drive, Windows 10. All drivers are up to date. If i can't get better FPS with RTX 4070 TI Super using same simple settings then what is the purpose in new card. I do not want to see if i get better FPS in standard 2D SF2020 mode because i believe will probably. I used 3D mark to test old card and then new card and i got more FPS with new card - but that was all 2D not VR. Thoughts?

@@Tv4.4 Theoretically at 1080p the i5 13600k can be a small bottleneck, maybe 10% performance loss. The thing is that practically at 1080p the bottleneck is the screen, which the 4070ti super is just laughing at. I mainly play Assetto Corsa Competizione in VR with my Oculus Quest 3 which has more than 4.55 million Pixels per eye. Compare this to a 1920x1080 screen with 2 million pixels. At maximum graphic settings I get constant 90+ fps smooth like butter with no drops at all in VR while racing against 30 or more other cars. My CPU is at 35C and my GPU at 40C. My recommendation is get a 1440p or even a 2k screen. This setup can handle this easy and you will benefit a lot more from it's performance. Who cares about a CPU bottleneck if it limits the fps from 500 to 450 if you can only display 165 on your 1080p screen anyway. It is more relevant in benchmarks than in practical gaming is what I want to say. At higher resolutions like 1440p, 2k etc. the CPU is no bottleneck anymore, since the GPU has to do more. Regarding the ASUS dual 4070ti super I can say go for it. I personally would rather go for a 3 fan design, but could be negligible if you don't do OC . The ASUS cards are about the best 4070ti super custom models. I can also recommend the Gigabyte models. Don't buy the MSI ones, because the have the worst performance.

Hard one. This is only a general average and there are several titels not fitting in this pattern and of course there are many games with well balanced specs after all. But on average most strategy games like total war, anno and stuff like this or citybuilders generally are more cpu heavy while most so called "AAA Story" games are most likely more GPU Heavy. And if you are aiming for e-sports it doesn't really matter in most cases because they are running on a potato ^^ 7800X3D is basically a good match for any high end gpu.

AMD is usually made for gaming and it has better performance in gaming but Intel can be used in gaming and productivity including video editing. AMD can still edit and it will cost less but Intel will be better in editing. It doesn't matter which one you get since both brands are really good options for a PC.
