2 of my former neighbors,one a chronic meth addict for years, and was in recovery, relapsed back in 2017 and murdered another houseless person and is doing life. The other former neighbor, who has been in jail for 2 years for murder, waiting to go to trial, is a college graduate from a middle class, college educated family. Addiction can take anyone.

I relate to so much of this video. I used meth amphetamines for 11 years. Paranoia and sycosis were my best friend. Thankfully not anymore. I relate to the come downs. I would sleep for days amd days after.

My issue is my teeth they hurt after a binge yet nothing is cracked or broken taking an aspirin helps on a normal day I don't have any pain with my teeth

I think it's primarily the sleep deprivation, but i know exactly the cosmic horror you mention.i often wonder if I had to design a scary monster for a film or game, using meth and staying up for a few days might allow your mind to create legit demons

I'm a full-blown alcoholic and been sober since July 20th, 1997. I smoked a lot of weed, done acid, mushrooms, speed... free-based cocaine (I did not tweak because I did not like it), I went back to drinking whiskey. I snorted coke and I did not do crack, heroin, and meth. Crack was around when I first sobered up but I did not want to try it. I want to learn more what its like to be on meth and other hard drugs. Because i want to understand it. lots of assholes in AA judges the addict for being on maintenance medication. I want to learn about it and why. I am open to learn it.

I actually been on meth for about 8years it's a once month thing but I have one issue mainly after a binge on it my teeth aren't cracked or broken but the next day it really hurts I brush twice a day when I'm on it I use mouth wash salt water mix... But that pain is annoying any suggestions please let me no

Are you drinking lots of water during your binges? Water us your best friend and will help with many side effects

take some magnesium, helps with teeth grinding.... that's what's making your teeth hurt

Make sure your mouthwash is alcohol free because it is a very drying agent which causes dry mouth and can lead to carries (small cavities) also called incipients. Also drink lots of water, stay hydrated. However most of all be careful, a lot of street drugs are very dangerous and are laced.
