as a maintenance technician, hearing Yumi’s septic tank story… there is a very good possibility that the pressure went backwards and the shit went up a mainline and went into the water line which is a huge contamination and no water should be used for cleaning and/or consuming. That school should honestly be condemned till the plumbing issue is fixed, but it depends how the school main pipeline is connected to the waste line.

School story from middle school: An assembly was called randomly in the middle of a school day. Grades 6th through 8th because of boom boom threats written on the bathroom walls in one only handicap bathroom on ground level floor (my classes were on the top third floor.) And they didn't disclose what was said on the wall or what was used. A hour or two after the assembly back in class I get called to the office. Then I'm questioned now this is exactly what the principal said to me " blank have you been writing bomb threats in youre own poop on the handicap bathroom walls?" I then proceeded to die laughing rolling on the ground while laughing I explained " no im not the one doing it" A hour later the kid turned himself in and is was one of the special needs kids who did it.

Certified plumber here. Sounds like the septic tank was backed up completely and rusted so thats why they had it exposed. Also,that's definitely an OSHA violation leaving the hole open. It usually takes a few weeks to ship a septic tank so that's probably why it was left open

Fun Senior prank story from my uncle. My 3 uncles went to high-school in mid 70's Era Detroit, and the principal there was apparently a grade A dickbag that even teachers and staff couldn't stand. So my uncles went to the janitor and for 3 tabs of acid they got the main entrance and roof access keys. For the senior prank, the entire automotive class showed up early, took apart the principals car, and reassembled it on the school roof
