I love Terraria and Minecraft, and when people say that terraria is a clone I just say they are two completely different games. Minecraft: A awesome sandbox which you mainly build and mine and do other various tasks. Terraria: a 2D RPG more focused on fighting and destroying bosses whille you upgrade your armor and weapons. All in all I love both games. Edit: Fixed up spelling mistakes

And unlike most games it doesn't give a f*ck about graphics and therefore it only takes about 30 seconds to create a 60,000,001×60,000,001×256 world not bad considering terraria takes about 5 minutes to create a world that takes only 5 minutes to walk to the edge of the world not including the Hermes boots aglets wings and other mobility items in the game Note: I do not hate terraria its a great game but the world is ridiculously small for how long it takes to make

And the creator of FNaF, Scott Cawthon supports the fangames! Because that's what they are, most of the time. Just innocent fangames. There was this game called "Survivalcraft". Survivalcraft used to be a near-complete ripoff of Minecraft. Today, Survivalcraft has been changed and updated to the point that it no longer resembles Minecraft in very many ways to be called a ripoff, but back then, it was almost exactly the same thing as Minecraft.

Minecraft gave the ideas to make clones of it. Without Minecraft there isn't any game will look like it. And The games will be the same everytime, sonic and mario will continue as the most popular games. Mario 64 and old notch's games made the idea of getting minecraft. Like Mario 64 have the number 64 so that gave the idea to get the max number of items to be in Minecraft And in 1.9 combat update notch added ulytras from mario 64's wings. And the old games that was made by notch aka infinity miner, it added the grass texture of alpha then it changed to the 2020, 2019 texture that we use now.

I think it defines that minecraft has truly come a long way and become the most popular game and thats why there are ripoffs. If minecraft isnt succesful, then there wont be any ripoff game it. It shows how succesful minecraft has come
