They don't need the tag titles though. They have an entire division full of extremely talented dedicated tag team acts thats just twisting in the wind right now. Meanwhile the main event scene is woefully underpopulated. Kingston and Moxley are seemingly the only 2 world title contenders AEW has, they don't need to be occupying the spot that should be occupied by Jurassic Express or Private Party or Death Triangle or FTR or Santana and Ortiz or Best Friends or any of the other extremely talented dedicated tag teams on the roster.

More and more the Omega/Moxley rivalry is such a huge reminder of the Flair/Rhodes rivalry in the 80s for the World Championship.
