I've owned 50 kayaks and the pursuit was the worst one. If I was forced to keep any of the 50 I could, but if I was forced to keep a pursuit I'd never fish again.

I hate to hear that you we’re not a big fan on the pursuit. What is your favorite kayak?

@@BOLZFISHING my favorite of all time was a Wilderness Systems Commander 140. My top 5 would be Commander, Old Town Bigwater PDL, Old Town Autopilot 136, Crescent Lite Tackle 2 and Hobie Itrek 11. Not in that order.

Why was it the worst for you? A friend of mine had it and just hated it for its size/weight. We fish national trails so that is sort of par for the course but she wanted lighter. I tend to like 12’ less than 100lbs of if I can manage to rig it with a motor and all my gear. Always thought the pursuit looked riggable and stable.

I happen to like the product

@@Nick-mc2hy everyone I know under 6’ tall and under 200lb loved it. Everyone I know over that, hated it. I didn’t think it paddled particularly well. The seat was horrible, but that was the old seat. I didn’t think it was very stable at all. Every time I would reach back for a rod I would almost fall out. A friend of mine did fall out reaching for a rod. Tracking was horrible. I had it when we actually paddled kayaks. Now most people put motors on them, so that will alleviate some issues. It was not a good experience for me.
