so the loopstation thing (he was not using the loopstation at all ) rythmind said in his round that i am just a looper ( he is actually gbb 2019 loop champ) and did a beat which sounded like it was on loopstation but he did it by his voice so d low is answering that as he is also a looper and the bass is all with voice no extra gain

12:47 becouse the water drop noise is made by a Whistle, but not a normal Whistle, this Whistle doesn't use the Air of your lungs, the Air you use for It is already on your mouth and you push It out with your tongue creating this sound, and therefore you can use your lungs to do the inward bass at the same time

That Wild Belle (Snakehips Remix) "It's Too Late" cover that he does is SO good. The track itself is super unique and catchy but I actually think D-Low's version is even better, which just shows how talented this guy is that he can equal a studio produced record but using only his voice. He doesn't just do the beat with the odd vocal and make it recognisable, he does the whole track and where he does mix it up from the Snakehips version he makes it sound like him adding his own flavour, rather than not being able to reproduce it perfectly. So, so good.

The clap thing is called a spit snare (Ok, I know it sounds kinda weird, but we ain't actually spitting) idk exactly how to describe making this sound, I guess I could say that you need some tight air pressure between your lips to produce the sound, but this sound is relatively easy to learn, a lot of people use it, including me. But learning or making some crazy ass combos is a whole different thing. Personally, I got some easy-ish combos and patterns already, but I want to get the sound itself cleaner.

That f*cking reaction i love it dude!! xD i have been beatboxin about 5years now.. those D-lows beats are really really really hard. i can do D-lows inward bass and some other stuff but duuude that guy is GOD! he was incredibly skilled back in 2016 and that’s how he has evolved! he is not human! Pls do more beatbox reactions! you are awesome too (:

at 03:25, i wanted to clear up that the bass i think you are talking about is his Inward bass, its really dope but the thing is that it isnt a really hard sound to use, its hard to mastet tho but a lot of the sounds and combos especialy that he made in this whole compilation are (way) harder than his inward bass, i get that you really enjoy the bass but the rest of the compilation is more impressive from a technical standpoint, and in my opinion this are probably by far his best performances of all time

8:02, it's called a hollow clop :), it's made by suspending your tongue in your mouth, and smacking it at the floor of your mouth, and by hollowing out your throat while doing it (dropping your adams apple) Some people can do it in 10 mins, for me it took 6 months 😂

What i love about DLow is how he can talk during his inward bass and then make it sound like hes Starscream from the transformers. Thats the sickest shit ever. His drops and alot of his combination sounds are not counterable in battles and that just makes him one of the goats of beatboxing. His style is crazy good and his bases are so damn nice, and hes the best inward bass beatboxer alive ( NO Inertia and Vocodah are NOT on his level) His livestreams were crazy 2. Its always cool 2 see new people reacting 2 beatboxing and are experiancing some mindblowing shit like this. Cool vid 👌🏾

The final was against Zekka, and he's worth checking out too - because despite the amazing rounds of D-Low, he won by a single point, which (as far as I remember when the judges talked about the battle) came down to minor differences in mixing, not the skill itself. So it was a very, very close battle.

So to explain the whole bass and water drops so the bass is created by inhaling inwards which is kinda hard yeah and then the water drops is created with the air in you mouth which means your tongue pushes the air out. :)

9:00 And gain isnt making anything deeper anyway... To change pitch u need to pitch lel... Gain just makes shit louder and/or distorts it if you gain enough to clip.. But the Gain is already on the mic to make the sounds consitently loud plus the bass boosting which is like common Beatbox practice to make shit sound just a bit cooler...

Right so you can inward bass threw your nose by lifting the back of your tounge leaving your lips and stuff forward free to do what ever just not stuff involving breathing out, but there is work arounds for some basic stuff thats how he did the water drops and kick drums stuff like that, inward bass isnt that hard to do or taxing to do but its the stuff around thats hard. Also the clap snare is just like spitting really quickly with the tightest you have ever put your lips together. its harder then what people let off
