I love this series so much. I've been diggin all the Banjo content lately, and the new take on two familiar things has been so fun. The mod maker is exercising some great creativity with this one, I love the choices to forego some of the places we already know from OOT to expand on others we don't see. And of course, Josh, you're as entertaining and comical as ever! I also really love that you're still making an "old fashioned" LP with this episodic format, because I can't sit thru streams for the attention span and VODs don't have the same magic to me, they just make me feel like I missed out on an inside joke or something, yknow? So I love that you still do these like this, even though the way things go are almost punish CCs away from that kind of format.

Level 5: Zora's Domain & Fountain complete! ...It is now time for something VERY difficult. If you happen to be lucky enough to read this before your next episode, then I would recommend you get a pencil and some paper. You're gonna need it.

omg?? The secret with the A button on the controller is SO COOL! This mod just keeps bringing surprises! Oh man the shooting gallery is so cool too. Gosh, the amount of creativity on display here is just insane! Always excited to see more of this!

You didn't try to talk to Donkey Kong. :( I just love it when a platform game adds so much imagination and content in small places you wouldn't expect. When you go inside a whale's body, you expect to find internal organs and the like, but you don't expect to find a treasure trove of miscellaneous goodies and a game console that you can just jump into! Plus the fact Donkey Kong set up his own little sideshow in Zora's Fountain! They really remodeled Hyrule well!
@TheBeserkerLord2 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed both Yooka-Laylee games quite a bit, the second one a little moreso. Definitely not as much as Banjo and I have some issues with them, but a solid effort. Would certainly enjoy seeing you take a crack at them. And Nuts & Bolts for that matter. :)

At least your parents knew enough to veto "Conker's Bad Fur Day". When I was REALLY little, my parents got me an NES. They knew absolutely nothing about games, and didn't care to look into any of it, so I had the most eclectic collection ever for a 3-4 year old. I had stuff like "Sesame Street ABC" and the "123" counterpart, as well as stuff like Sunsoft "Batman" and "Ninja Gaiden". Surprisingly, even at that age, I could semi-consistently get to Stage 3-1 in Ninja Gaiden. Tried playing it on emulator something like 25 years later, and without save-states, I can still only get to that point.

I really enjoyed Yooka-Laylee it’s probably a game I’ll never have the patience to 100% but it’s definitely charming and fun in its own right I should play it again and would absolutely watch a Josh Jepson Yooka LP

I overall enjoyed Yookla Laylee 1. Could use a couple more quality of life features and I never could beat that final boss, but I enjoyed the quality of life updates they did implement like the move meter over collecting 5 different collectables for each move.
