Thank you for this. About to start my NQT and feel absolutely clueless ahah! This has helped so much! Can I ask.. My school are big on relationship building but don't want to see any plans for the first four weeks as they want this time solely for building a sense of belonging. How would you have your displays at these time?

That is a very sweet concept! I'm sure you will still teach core subjects no? Even if it is through games/team work activities! I would still create displays for each core subject and then some based on the work/set you create as a class! Perhaps even a class 'family tree' something that gives them a sense of belonging!
