I'm a big nervous smiler. I'm not always socially awkward, but in heavy, scary, situations, or just when I'm nervous, I smile. When my nana had a heart attack, and was being Carried on a stretcher to an ambulance, I was fighting a smile. I was sad, and scared, and smiling made me feel less scared.

I smile and laugh when I am nervous. Its not like him. It doesn't last more than a 10 minute, its an initial reaction when you didn't expect someone to talk to you, or when you feel someone's rage, and your laughter is a way you found to keep your aggressors from beating you. His reaction is insane, not a usually response. Unfortunately, jons parents killed her and got away with her

So 90% of this comment section is about Burke smiling. Naturally, because it doesn’t fit the commonly accepted body language for this situation. But there are people that will smile, involuntarily, when they are nervous. It’s a defense mechanism. Their brain is trying to tell them to relax and that everything is okay. And of course he is nervous! He hasn’t given an Interview really ever, he’s on a TV set, with dr Phil and he’s talking about the death of his little sister. Being nervous isn’t always equal to being guilty of something. You can be good nervous. I would be excited nervous to be on a TV set, to meet dr Phil and sit across from him! He went through something severely traumatic as a boy, when his sister was taken. That will leave psychological effects. Maybe with his mom being so involved in pageants he was taught, or observed, that he had to smile in certain situations. He could’ve learned that subconsciously. But in no way should him smiling continuously be an indicator of guilt. His smile does not reflect any of the other body language cues that would indicate genuine joy over his sisters death. All these comments are probably one of, or the main reason he didn’t do any interviews for so long. But I understand that his constant smile looks creepy. Yes, it does. But if you look into it a bit more, he’s just nervous guys. I would be too.

1. The paper the ransome note was written on came from the mothers notepad. 2. The note asked for $118,000 the exact amount John the father got for his bonus. 3. The killer had to be familiar with their habits and home in order to kill a child in the home and no one hear anything. Also to know they'd be home. 4. The mother in the interview stated she did not kill that child, a nod to the distance she had with her child, she didn't say my daughter or her name but " that" child. Do I believe the Ramsey's killed their daughter....not directly, but do I think they may have been paid or know a "friend" of the family that could have, yes! In all their interviews no one in this family really seemed distraught, except mYbe the mother and even then it always came across to me like it was more regret than true sadness and despair.

Well the parents have a lot to answer for Luna, because she was sexualised as a child. Were they not aware of the risk of harm to the child by some weirdo or other ? Growing up in such an odd environment, it is not difficult to believe that the son has some kind of personality disorder.
@AuDHD99

People may say whatever they want... but this Burke is creepy!
@sarahholland2600
@sarahholland2600 3 жыл бұрын
Um, has Burke not heard the audio of the 911 call? Patsy forgot to hang up. You can hear her say: "Jesus. God, what did you do?". Burke replies " What did you find"?. So he wasn't asleep like he & his parents claim. The penknife used for the garotte was Burkes. Police noted the marks on her cheek matched the prongs on his toy train tracks. He'd hit her over the head before,with a golf club . He had a history of smearing feces ( red flag for abuse or psych issues)& Police noted feces smeared on a box of Xmas candy in Jon Benets room. The torch on the counter matched her head wound perfectly.
@heloveszarah23
@heloveszarah23 2 жыл бұрын
He didn’t hit her over the head. She walked behind him and he accidentally hit her in the face on his backswing. She didn’t say anything. She hung the phone up straight away. The sound is strokes on a keyboard. The marks on the train tracks didn’t match the marks on her because they were rectangular. He had no history of violent behaviour. That CBS documentary got sued $750 Million because of the lies they told about Burke. Ridiculous.

If this was an unknown intruder, how did they know where Jon Benet’s room was? The house was 4 stories I believe. An intruder isn’t going to be wandering around, possibly waking someone up.

They repeat that the DNA Evidence Cleared ALL THE RAMSEY'S more than once in the film. You cannot argue with DNA evidence. The only thing though, is did they really test burke's DNA? I would check it again just to be sure. He couldhave been responsible for her sexual abuse as well

Yes, it is creepy. But you have to think that some people smile when they are nervous. And being nervous doesn’t mean guilty. He’s never spoken out about this traumatic event (yes, he lost his sister, that’s traumatic) and now he’s on tv, with dr Phil, talking about a very traumatic event that took his sister. I’d be nervous too. I know it’s weird because usually people don’t smile in situations like this. But I promise he is doing it subconsciously. And that’s probably why he didn’t speak out for so long, he knew people would pick apart every little piece of body language and make their determination from there. And here he is, with a huge smile on his face. He’s probably kicking himself after seeing it. Guarantee he didn’t realize it at the time, or didn’t know how to stop it from happening subconsciously. I honestly feel bad for the guy. Because it should be innocent until proven guilty. But he is being drug across the coals and probably just misses his little sister. If he is guilty, and it’s proven, we should act accordingly then. But I agree, the smiling throughout is unsettling. It’s simple biology that it’s creepy. I’m creeped out even though I know it’s not purposeful.
