I have a cinnamon lorrie here in Brisbane, Australia, when I put him outside he calls down the wild rainbows, not unusual to see a couple sitting on top of his cage interacting with him, he comes out of his cage ( a large one on wheels) when he’s inside.

Your way wrong with your Rainbows. That much wet is far too much for their needs. I breed all Australian Lorikeets and they get maybe one teaspoon of wet mixed with warm water. The rest of their diet consists of as much dry food as needed, 1/2 an apple or pear per pair and a few grapes once a week. The dry food must be of good quality and your pellets are rubbish. You can cut out the wet all together, it's not necessary.

@@michael49777 watch your iron, if he or she get to much it’s could kill them , I use to give my tigger , raisins then I was told about the iron thing so I stopped giving it to her she would live with out them and she did , she is 19 years old now , so I give her other thing s that are good for her and of course her WET Lori nector your wrong about wet . If you give them dry food they WILL need plenty of WATER .. I don’t care where you breed them or not you are wrong .. sorry , I agree. With you on the fruits.. my Lori eats everything even meat , roast beef , chicken and sweet sausage lol , she sucks on the juice on the roast beef did you know they need the juice of meat once and a while , that w as in a Lori book I bought she eats roast beef almost every night and she loves it , I must be doing something right , like I said she’s 19 now and my vet said she is in excellent heath , she. Is very active, she plays a lot and talks up a storm all day long . So I will continue what iam doing , so far it’s working 👍 good luck with your birds hope they live a long and healthy life ! 🌈🌈🌈😁

@@Judy-qv8qj Firstly, where do you live? I didn't mention anything about raisins, I would never feed them raisins. Iron, spinach is very good for them. A small amount of wet is ok, all dry is better WITH PLENTY OF WATER. You are wrong, your Vet is wrong. I've been breeding them for 30 years, don't tell me I'm not doing it right. Your bird, what ever it is, is doing very well for 19 years old. Oh and the meat is a no no they are not carnivores, a very small amount of cooked chicken is ok but not to much.

@@michael49777 I live in Florida USA , AND I WAS TAKING ABOUT A RAINBOW LORI , and yes my bird has been eating roast beef for 19 years now , and I know they are fruit eaters , but she loves the juice in the roast beef , so I guess the book I read to give them the juice of beef was wrong too ? Anyway I haven’t time to argue with people on U tube .. you think your right great your right . Iam telling you what I feed my rainbow lorikeet, like I said been doing it for 19 years must be doing something right..... so let me put it to you this way YOUR RIGHT ...
