You know… I just purchased a 22-year-old, 34 foot, Monaco Knight 34 PST. It's in virtually like new condition. Well maintained by 2 pairs of geriatric retirees. And well cared for. With 65,100 miles on the Cummins 300 HP, turbo diesel engine. Allison 6 speed. Optional 4 door refrigerator. Much like that Allegro Red. The original sticker price was about $145,000 in 2002. And immaculately cared for. I got it for 25,000 cash. Everything works great. It needs new batteries. It's got new tires all around by Toyo. And it's not a goofy color. That attracts attention. It's called Taupe. The base is eggshell white. With light tasteful, light gray, dark gray, black, not gaudy, graphics. Exactly what I wanted. With 3 slides. Though I wanted the one with 4 slides. Oh well? Beggars can't be choosers. This was 99% of what I wanted. From the kind of people I wanted it from. And the cute topper was the radio in the dashboard. The station that was on. KFMA. The Fine arts, Classical Music Station for Austin, Texas. Not a hillbilly station at all. And who was the 88-year-old and 85-year-old couple I purchased it from? He was a 26 year, US Military Chaplain. And I arrived at his home in, Lockhart, Texas. A southern suburb of Austin. About 30 miles south. Andy had a beautiful home in downtown, Lockhart. There was much self-respect there. And they kept the motorhome under an outdoor open-air carport. For the last few years of its life.. From the previous owner. Another old woman. Whose husband had died. And she had to hang up the old RV. And these folks purchased it. For the past almost 4 years. And no grandchildren on board. To, trash it. Nope. As nothing was worn out or broken. And the very quiet 7.5 kW diesel Onan generator is fabulous. I think I lucked out. And at 22 years of age. With elderly retirees as the owners. You can be fairly certain. They took wonderful care. It certainly appears so. Everything is original stock. It's like new. It never got any hard use. As lightweight geriatric old folks. That are not overly fat. Tend not to trash everything. As I know fat folks. All they have to do is sit down on something. And it breaks. I feel bad for them when that happens. But they have control over themselves. But they don't. And if you break enough furniture? Wouldn't you lose weight? As you are not going to be the hit of the party, that way. After breaking that antique chair. After breaking that brand-new office chair. After breaking that couch. After breaking the outdoor lawn furniture. How many more burgers would you be slamming down? As that was my ex-wife. And the boatload of money I saved. After she, divorced, me. Though I still remember her. Unfortunately. We did have our good times. Early on. For a few years. I will have no tomorrow. If I don't get my shit moved out soon. To move into my retirement.. RemyRAD

Great idea on mat the front carpet. I think the biggest reason is due to nasty truck fuel lanes where you can track diesel fuel. I'm gonna copy that one!

I've had two 40'+ diesel pushers - neither of them had significant problems with the "coach" side of things and those problems that did come up were able to be repaired at just about any RV dealer. But have a problem with the chassis side and you have one hell of a time finding someone to trouble shoot or repair. Leaky axle seal one week after purchase "sorry we don't work on chassis". Air problems, dash AC problems, no battery power to starter, crap that leaves you stranded on the road if not fixed and not one dealer would even look at it. I'd like to see these review people look at something on these coaches besides the tv or the shower. "Sorry, we only work on the coach, find a truck shop and see if they can look at it for you"

Wow, loving my 2002 Beaver patriot more every video you do. $200k and it has wavy paneling? And DEF? No washer/dryer? Here is to the next 20 years in a classic beaver!

It seems like the late-90s/early 2000s were the high water mark for motor vehicles of all kinds.

My 2021 Allegro Red 33AA had lots of issues. Just remove all of the drawers and see how rickety the slider supports are. But I still love the coach, after I fixed all the assembly mistakes. It drives great after a good alignment, and it gets 9.3MPG, fully loaded while towing a Honda CRV.

I enjoy your Sewell RV reviews, they provide what to ‘look for’ when considering a used RV. My wife wants me to sell our 94’ - 22’.5” TK Lazy Daze. Maybe I could have James review my Daze. Go Red Thank you James

I am surprised they are still using carpet. I would think a luxury RV would not have it. I agree with you on the recliner, I would not want to keep moving it.

TV over the fireplace makes perfect sense, so why is there also one above the windshield?

the poor workmanship should be covered by warranty? If not thats terrible...and please go back to doing repairs instead of selling stuff for Sewell..miss your repair videos which is why i started watching your videos

repair videos take a lot of extra time and setup, I do my best but I will try to work harder in the summer heat.

Only thing I don't understand is that the TV is behind the slide out trim as viewed from the couch.

Long story short, buy a short Newmar diesel with comfort drive. They also have cup holder areas on the slide fascia and no carpet in bedroom. Lots of bizarre little quirks on this coach

Doug is such a typical salesman, $200K for a RV he paid $100K for.

If I could make $100k on a $200k unit I wouldn’t be typical. Lol.

I think the exterior is very sharp, the dash & controls nice (except for the shifter) but I have to disagree with you on the interior. While the wood may be real the finish looks like that of cheap furniture. The finish is really paint that has been sprayed on & you don't see any wood grain. Other interior treatments like the commercial looking wall panels and the brown wood with grey inserts on surrounding trim, just looks cheap to me.

The seat in the shower is not to sit on. It’s to prop your foot on to bath or shave your legs.
