What do I think about the new Diamond Art Club packaging and toolkit?

I like some of the upgrades. The box in particular that you can keep the rolled up section of canvas in that you aren’t working. Interested in trying the new pen as well. I will definitely miss the cover minders however. The barcode that you mentioned on the box is not for you as a consumer’s benefit but more so for DAC to keep track of what they sell and their inventory control.

I agree... I absolutely love all the new upgrades! I've been using the pen and tray almost exclusively since I received a new kit. I'll have to show you how I am currently using the insert. The pen is awesome and the new metal tip is great! I can't wait until they release other pens like it.

Nice video! I have several of the smaller trays now from Christmas sets (the Peanuts cards, and gingerbread house). I had one of the 'new regular' sized trays from a new picture, and didn't like the bigger size. My hands are too small, so I am using the smaller tray. As far as the pen, I liked it except for pushing square diamonds in place. I bought the new metal single tip that they are making for these, and it's absolutely wonderful. I don't know if my plunger is just impossible, but I sure can't pull it out like you did. It takes all the effort in the world to get it out. Maybe I need to try one of my other pens :). I agree, some variety with pen and tray colors would be nice. My only thought is, how many trays and pens and.putty do we need? This putty goes a lot longer than the wax, so we will collect even more of that...umm....also no tweezers. I use them for other things, not placing, but sooner or later people will miss them. I do have one friend that refuses to buy from DAC because of no tweezers, so I sent him all of my tweezers (yes, I think it's a strange reason to not use a diamond painting company, but he was that upset about it).

One thing about DAC is they are always improving and listening to customer feedback.

🐞I absolutely.agree with you that this is a great kit..the pen IS amazing with special drills..I find that I just put the cap back on to turn it to advance the putty..2 turns is enough or it will come out too fast!!!🤗

Yes I agree because we lost the collectible aspect of kits with the tool kit upgrade. If they made the trays and the pens different colors or printed the thumbnail of the kit on the tray lid that would be epic!

OMG yes the picture on the side of the box would be nice to be a bit bigger.....ohhh I did't know they slid into place to stack I was just placing them on top of each other 🤯

They don’t. My bad. They just got stuck on each other and I thought they slid.

New to diamond painting. Just curious..Isn’t the white putty visible after you stick down the dots on the canvas? So far I‘ve only used the little red squares, and after you stick the dots down, you can’t see the wax anymore. Don’t know how this would work with white putty. Would appreciate your feedback.Thanks!

Sometimes if you slip you can get putty on your canvas but you can usually pick off most of it with your tweezers. I actually have a bigger issue with residue from the pink wax than I do with the putty. But it’s a preference and how you place your drills. Trial and error.

When did they change the pen placer? Is it in all the kits or just the newest?

Within the last 3 months or so. It’s in all new kits and the restocks now.

I don’t like the putty in the pen. It tends to get stringy and leaves a residue on the drills. Which is sad because I love using it!

When you go to the DAC site and click on the canvas you want you can scroll the pictures of the painting and one of the pictures will show what tool kit you get with the painting. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
