Actually its an old mall, build in 90s, it was had a waterfalls infront but not working anymore, there r hundreds newer malls in Jakarta. This one is classic remind me of my childhood.

Suggest you to visit SCBD, there are malls also like Pacific Place and ASHTA 8. Also you ca visit PIK 2, The New Jakarta City, the new township that is under construction with the beach there. Or Pluit Area

Love your vlog ❤️ A little bit correction there, mall taman anggrek is not the largest mall in Indonesia, the largest one is in surabaya named pakuwon mall surabaya. Mall taman anggrek is one of the largest tho, i think it’s the fifth largest mall in indonesia 😁

There is so much to explore in Jakarta, but if you go to Indonesia I would suggest going to Bali. Bali is a million times better to explore than Jakarta honestly! Have fun in Indonesia!

FYI: Biggest mall in indonesia is Pakuwon Mall Surabaya-east java

Actually the largest mall in Jakarta is Grand Indonesia Shopping Town, while the largest mall in Indonesia is Supermall Pakuwon Mall at Surabaya, the second is still Tunjungan Plaza at Surabaya. While the most luxurious mall in Indonesia is Plaza Indonesia.

Mall Taman Anggrek is far from being the largest in Indonesia. One of the oldest and most deserted sure, but definitely not the largest. Most people wouldn’t even step foot in Taman Anggrek anymore unless you’re planning on going to the skate rink. Try going to Central Park just next door, Pacific Place, ASHTA, Grand Indonesia, Pondok Indah Mall and Plaza Indonesia.

They are not allowing foreigners into many places in Jakarta. It’s quite disappointing as we watch several local Indonesians be granted entry but we are turned away 🥺

Monas and Kota Tua/Fatahillah Square for instance just outright don’t allow anyone to enter and congregate inside in fear of spreading Covid. But you can absolutely still go to Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) and Lapangan Banteng.

Jakarta knowns as 1000 malls city. Actually Mall Taman Anggek isn’t the largest anymore. There were plenty other malls that same even bigger than MTA. ( have u visit the Central Park & with beautiful bridge Eco Skywalk that connects to the Neo Soho mall. All of it just beside Mall Taman Anggrek. You can try Mall Pondok Indah 1,2 ,3 at south of Jakarta. Or Grand Indonesia with Plaza Indonesia in front of it in Thamrin - central Jakarta. In North Jakarta, u can visit Mall Kelapa Gading 1,2,3,4 & 5 or Mall Of Indonesia etc. Try to go to SCBD, there are Pacific Place Mall and Ashta district 8 ( very beautiful mall concept with high end interior & exterior building material) it’s very instagramable. Or you can visit Pantai Indah Kapuk ( PIK 1 & 2), with beach ambiance in north of Jakarta Btw u better use Grab or Gojeg applications for taxi’s. It’s much easier.

Taman anggrek is an old mall guys. If you want to see the biggest mall ini jakarta you should go to Grand Indonesia...it's most luxury n bigger than taman anggrek
